I’ve been following this forum since long before it was JA606. In fact it must be at least 25 years now (probably more).

I rarely post nowadays as the site is generally dominated by threads filled with posters hurling insults at each other, and I’m too old for that sort of nonsense having been following LUFC for over 57 years now (you get shorter sentences for murder).

But… I still “tune in” almost every day for the odd snippet of inside information, or opinion on what’s happening at ER. Amongst all the drivel, it’s still a great place to get news, and take the temperature of the fan base.

There are still some great poster on here, who are calm, objective and well worth listening to for a sensible take on matters.

If there are other members or ex members reading who have, or had, health issues, please come back. You are always welcome. I know there are some ripe comments on here from time to time, but we are all Leeds fanatics, and whatever your health situation, you are always one of us.
We have lost some fine individuals along the way, Highland and Harj come to mind, but there are others who have left for the brand new stadium where Gary Speed scores every week. Thanks Batty and Light , it’s great to see this forum still very much alive after all these years, yes we argue and have disagreements but we are all UNITED in the fact that we all want Leeds to do well.

I try and do it on the actual subject, so one thread I could be having an argument with somebody, totally different views, then on another thread, but on the same day, could be 'totally agreeing' with that same person.

you're opinion shouldn't change depending on who are debating with, if there was a weakness of this site, or people on this site, I'd say its that.

I can think of two posters recently I've had arguments with - but if I read something they have said and I agree with it, I'll post just that, 'totally agree'

Yeah similar ... posted on the old bbc site in the mid-2000s. Think my username was based on my then car reg number (L11 DSU). Don't post anywhere as much these days, but do read/view regularly. Great site, even with differences - you still get great insight and views on the team/club.
