The lad looks so bloody strong for his age. Rides contact like nothing. Intelligent, good passer, adept at wriggling out of pressure. And he's only 18!

He's a talent he will play for England if he keeps improving, just need to see how plays as a more conventional left back but everything he's doing says he's going to be a top player.

Only caught the end of the first half and all the second, he looked really impressive.

Was very good would like to see him more in the attacking third if I'm honest.

Also he would have looked like a right muppet if spurs scored that the corner when he was giving it the big en when subbed off. Save that chit for when the games safe.

Myles should be in midfield. Got everything you need for the #8 role and is better than Merino.

I dunno. I really enjoyed that. His energy, his hunger. I hope both he, and us Arsenal fans can, look forward to some enjoyable times together.

Watched DR earlier on TNT and he was raving about the kids. All bodes well.

At 18, first NLD, aruguably out of position. I'd go with 9.9/10.

full back is a nice place for him to learn and grow. i remember wenger used to start attackers wide even if their future was in the middle, because he said you get that extra second on the ball and its not so demanding - though looking at his attributes he probably will end up there

Jenius, fair comment if you're comparing 18yr old Cole and him atm but Cole had a rapid improvement scale after his debut, you'll know better but I seem to remember that Cole was 18 as well when he debuted or around that age?

I was comparing them at the same age. Cole was getting sent on loans. But I also had skill set in mind. Cole was a converted winger so he was faster. Whereas mls is a converted cm so has a bit more intelligence and power. For me that is a bigger plus in the long term. I think it's better for the team if you prevent attacks from developing rather rescuing a situation with pace and a last ditch tackle.

I know Dj is a fan of his in MF but honestly there are very good CMs at England level who have a little more about them in that position.

I feel he has found a position he has been able to adjust to because he is very intelligent. (Which is a prerequisite for all Arteta players imo). For me, he is already on par, if not a little better than a 5 year older and £40m player, Timber. Why change?

Yeh, if it ain't broke dont fix it? would solve an issue you've had at LB without any incurred costs and he's only 18 so will just get better

As long as we like our LB to invert, he seems a perfect fit there.
