but we've been done and over run in MF at Anfield in the last couple of seasons and we need to stop the rot. Its a derby game and its passionate out there. We are better than them, it hurts them, so they try harder. We got to match them.

Contracts mean fck all nowadays. Players sign it so they can earn that little bit more until they leave (possibly) and the club can ask for a higher transfer fee.

Wouldn't playing Rooney + Welbeck (or Hernandez) and getting the former to play a bit deeper be similar in terms of formation to packing the midfield? Rooney + striker doesn't necessarily mean 4-4-2.

just seems happy to be at united, his agent seems pleased too. don't think we will see what we saw with Ronaldo. £30 mill is a hefty bid though (i know it was a rumour).

if we have to play five in the middle to combat the might of hnderson and Adam( both of who are dire) then we have problems. They Have an awful midfeild so we should be Able to play two in the centre. If we can't then it shows we need new cms (most know this anyway)
