Cant really see the point in signing him, never heard of him either.
Maybe Weale wants first team football and will be in Jan....no great loss
can only be because weale wants first team action. but why sign someone else when we have a ready made replacement in conrad logan (looks wise too haha)
Certainly nothing more than back-up. Perhaps after Weale's performance against Forest, Sven thinks he needs a better back-up should Kasper become injured.
If I'm honest, I don't think Weale has been good enough (the odd performance excepted) since Nigel left because every other manager has asked him to pass the ball out rather than hoof it and he doesn't seem 100% comfortable with that which has meant a lack of confidence has swept through his game.

Weales problem is not that IMO its the inability to judge the flight of 20 yards plus shots
I would have thought that Weale would want first team football; after all, that's why he came here in the first place. So if we are looking to give this Croatian fellow a contract then I agree that it would be a good indicator that Weale is ready to move on.
By the way Nev, I saw your mate David Martin playing for MK Dons vs. Oldham the other night.
It reminded me why we didn't sign him...
My Croatian is a little rusty. Is that pronounced 'Rooney'?
Well signing an ageing foreign keeper from the continent worked so well last time didn't it.
It's a shame for Weale as his career has really gone backwards in the last few years and his form with it.
Isn't our Academy bringing along any goalkeepers with potential? Apart from Logan I have seldom heard of any other names mentioned.
Right now, what would happen if both Logan and Weal were injured?
We do have 18 year old Adam Smith coming through. Highly rated apparently and currently on loan at Chesterfield. For a club that produced England's two best ever keepers, I'd say we're due another one.
