second half george friend free kick on target or had you already left? agree very lightweight was evident with how copps oster and gillet performed, plan B we made subs and switched formation twice as i say you must have left early
Yes for the first time ever i left early ,must have been When the one and only shot came, and if that was a plan B then god help us
Tonight's game was a wake up call. We got seven points out of nine in three games in which we could have been four nil down by half time. Every bit of luck that SOD didn't get went our new manager's way. Well tonight his luck ran out and a highly competent Leeds side took us apart comprehensively for seventy minutes. Saunders blames bad defending but there wasn't a player on the field who had a good game for us. I thought we would be relegated before the season started and I still do.
Well after our 3 game mini-revival and all the excitement over signings the last couple of weeks, we had to come down to earth sometime. Just thought it may have lasted a little bit longer.
I know nobody put in a performance tonight, but it's interesting that with a settled back 5 for 3 games (that must be a record in recent times) we managed to only concede 2 and then we change it and concede 3 in one game. But if Martis was injured maybe we didn't have a choice.
