i think lewis will drive brilliantly.so the only thing that can hurt him is poor strategy, maybe the tyre situation too.

whitmarsh looked a bit disapointed once again, and actually seemed to talk up the other drivers more.its like he has no belief in lewis,or maybe its something else.

It seems like the same shenanigans employed at Mclaren are being unleashed on Rosberg, what on earth is Mercedez trying to do? This is the second time that Rosberg has had no run in qualifying and he even exited out of the front of the garage to air his frustrations!

Mercedez should realize Schumacher is a has been and they will never rekindle his glory days with him. Just because the plonker messed up his own qualifying they have to go and scr#ew Rosberg, this sort of behaviour in F1 is just plain disgusting!

That pole lap is probably on virtually the limit of that car and setup. I haven't seen vettel do a lap virtually on the limit like that although he was good enough for pole on most. Hamilton shows the potential he has. Vettel was probably saying him to self another pole is on the cards but after he qualifies 2nd says Mclaren have bee quick and it helps if you have a faster car but also says the driver has to show it. If vettel drove one of his best laps he would probably have beaten hamilton or been very close but hamilton did a nailed lap.

Gee. funny how he turns it on AFTER the title has been sewn up. Looking forward to watching him mess it up, as he no doubt will.

Hamilton's silence at being congratulated by his engineer spoke volumes, all is not well at Mclaren! Still the blind continue to be blind!

How sad are you tsheporam? your posterboy gets his first pole in 16 months and you still mention Button in article ....

I think I've worked something out here.

You are an arrogant conspiracy theorist with a blinkered view of the way F1 teams work, an ego the size of Manhattan, and an urge to throw the race card at absolutely anything you disagree with.

You then go about calling yourself the voice of reason and act like you're the only one who has the slightest bit of knowledge of F1, and then insult anyone who calls you out on anything.

You're not Kanye West, are you?

McLaren are still going to sabotage Lewis - they would give Mutton the right to pit foirst and hold lewis up for 3 laps so his tyres would have been shot and Mutton get the undercut - we have seen this so many times this year!!

Whitless needs to be sacked!!

yeah they do normally mess hamilton strategy up to help button out.
they did that quite a bit last season too.

Hamilton's engineer is a moron, heneeds to be fired ASAP, during races Lewis has to constantly nag him for information and whenever this plonker comes on radio, it is to tell Lewis to slow down or not to overtake ‘there will be opportunities towards the end of the race!

Today he really levelled it off when he patronized Hamilton by calling him ‘mate’, which was met with stone silence from Lewis!

After today's complete annhilation by Lewis Hamilton, Button is already considering going to Le Mans

Button fans seem awfully quite today, now that their boy got a serious hiding they are in hiding(no pun intended)! Don't worry guys u are not alone in this, the feeling is exactly the same at Woking!

Mutton Twitmarsh must be the most miserable person on this planet tonight, but rumour has it that he will be burning the midnight oil, plotting how to bring about Hamilton's downfall!

posted on 15/10/11

Idiot honestly. Why would Whitmarsh sabotage his own driver, when McLaren still have a chance at the constructors title?

Yeah, but the last time i checked, Martin Whitmarsh was in south korea, not hell. I know an evil plan when i see one, and nothing dodgy is happening at McLaren, they're just comically inept, like a well funded HRT.

Points are given out after the race, not qualifying.

How are you gonna react if Button wins tomorrow?

So how do you come to the conclusion that 3 tenths is a complete annihilation?

posted on 15/10/11

i agree with tall and rather useful. 3 tenths is nothing, i expect Vettel and Alonso to give McLaren trouble tomorrow.

tsheporam is an institution of higher learning, here we discuss real issues not sissyboy stuff, we give you the basics of formula 1 free of charge! Stick around and you shall become a better man for it!

------------------------------------
This seems to be the case only in Lewis' side of the garage otherwise its a well funded and well oiled machine on the otherside!

-----------------------------
Button can only win when Hamilton gets those fictitious tyre punctures, slow pitstops(these ones are a given) and appauling strategy, otherwise its curtains for Button!

So how do you come to the conclusion that 3 tenths is a complete annihilation?
----------------------------------
Being 3 tenths slow than your teammate per lap in a 60 lap race is equaivalent to 18secs and we all know finishing 18 seconds behind the leader is just not on in formula 1

Another question you failed to ask is why did they allow Hamilton an unhindered path to pole position?
They had assumed that over the last five or so races they had done enough to break his will, considering this is is the first time in as many races Lewis has had a fair shot at pole position, they mistakenly thought Button would be a match for him. Now they properly know where to draw the line and will not allow this to happen again!

---------------------

Hamilton's pole came as a shock to even the mechanics in the garage, there were no fist pumps just polite claps of astonishment, I mean for their first pole of the season after 16 races, no matter what happens tomorrow, should have been cause for more expressive applaud than what was displayed.

As to Hamilton 's reaction, I cannot recall in the history of formula one that a driver looked so sombre after getting pole position, even the excuse of being fearful about tomorrow's race does not hold any water. During the years of refueling there were guys literaly qualifying on fumes just to get pole and looked more ecstatic than our Lewis, knowing full well the following day they would get slaughtered in the race.
This is a clear sign that Lewis wants out of this pathetic outfit and their gang of hooligans!

Okay Tsheporam, lets assume for a minute your correct, and that Hamilton does want to leave, where would he go? Red Bull are full, Ferrari too, same with Merc. He'd end up in a Williams, and i doubt he'd want that.

posted on 15/10/11

Imagine yourself as a Team Owner and you hear that Lewis Hamilton is a free agent, if you had money to invest in a wise investment u'll know what to do.

Red Bull 's dominance might be over this season, albeit their car will remain one of the top three cars for a while and with Webber's contract expiring 2012 its an option

Alonso is performing dismally even being outqualified by Massa on a regular basis now, he might need someone to give him a serious wake up call!

Its only a matter of time Merc come to their senses and realize Schumacher as the liability he is, he is not taking them forward instead Merc is beginning to sabotage Roseberg just to get him on par with Schumacher.

With Kubica's return doubtful Hamilton, as Alonso did in 2008 and 2009 with the same team, can slot in that position while waiting for a better seat at one of the top team excluding Mclaren or until Ron Dennis wakes up and fires Whitmarsh! He can in the meantime help develop Renault and who knows they might end up winning a title together.

Anything but Mclaren for Lewis please, its just too much to take for him and his fans!
