trott should make way for bell,trott has a good average but is to slow when england are chasing a decent total.

Yesterday, England were out-batted, out-fielded and out-bowled and it's difficult to see any silver lining.
Kieswetter showed again that he's not an ODI player, simply a T20 specialist. His average of 29 is barely above his T20 average of 27.
Our bowlers simply had no understanding of how to bowl on that low slow surface. The Indian bowlers apart fro Vinay Kumar didn't bowl above 70mph.
Praveen in England bowled about 78mph yesterday it was 68mph, I cannot imagine Finn being able to bowl slow enough to be effective.
I think England must ditch Kieswetter and have either Pietersen or Bell open. Time and Time again we see it's not necessary to go ' hell for leather' in the first power play.
Yesterday when Dhoni arrived at the crease India were bumping along at just over 4 an over but ended up at 6 an over.
Pietersen was dreadful yesterday, he looked as if he was completely disinterested in the proceedings.
Dhoni was truly magnificent and continued where he left off from England.

Bresnan is a high quality Test bowler but his ODI record is unconvincing.
Smart call to leave him out although many would disagree and i understand why but i wouldnt pick him.
But surely Jimmy as well as Finn>>>Woakes by miles.
Woakes'medium pace would get hammered in the shorter formats.Doesnt have variations either.
Bresnan was our most successful bowler in Bangladesh and in the recent WC in India.
You say Woakes doesn't have any variations but what variation does Finn offer,none.
Patel DEFINITELY not good enough, I agree. But Bresnan needs to be in your team, personally I don't think Stokes needs to play so I would do this swap
The problem with Patel is the facts he as no designed position in the team. have a look at most teams in the world in odi cricket there lower order dont really must anything. Anyway if England bat first get a good score 270/280 it will not be easy for India either..
