Contract negotiations affect players differently. Some continue to play as if nothings going on but others get distracted. Let's all hope that Kayal settles down now and returns to top form.

God I wish Izzy would hurry back.

New contract means nothing if a club in the EPL comes in for him he will be off in the summer.

True but it puts the club in a strong position when it comes to negotiating a price. The player will also be well aware that he'll never get a move if he doesn't buck up his ideas.

I am sure we will see a diffrent Kayal playing now which is something we need as he is far from been his best.

Don't get me wrong he has gone about it the wrong way, but thats football, money does the talking.

If a EPL club comes in for him in the summer Celtic are in a stronger position to get the wright money for him, but agree he needs to lift his game big time before this happens.

Well done though Celtic after losing out on Mcfadden this is a good bit of news

I think the scars are healing and once he has the makeup on, and his walk down pat, no one will know.

Thats a good bit of business, its a Win Win. If he does happen to get sold in January they will get the full whack for him. If he doesnt and stays round it is surely a matter of time before he gets back to his best.

Hes a player i dont like to see in the Celtic line up at Old Firms as normally he thrives in those games.

For once Hector, ia gree.

Whittaker is an awful footballer makes me nervouse when i hear he is in the team.

Mind you, his agent is world class. 20k+ a week.

Broadfoot will be banging on the door soon.
