You sir are a smelter
Smelting is a form of extractive metallurgy; its main use is to produce a metal from its ore. This includes iron extraction from iron ore, and copper extraction and other base metals from their ores. Smelting uses heat and a chemical reducing agent to change the oxidation state of the metal ore; the reducing agent is commonly a source of carbon such as coke, or in earlier times charcoal. The carbon or carbon monoxide derived from it removes oxygen from the ore to leave the metal. The carbon is thus oxidized in two stages, producing first carbon monoxide and then carbon dioxide. As most ores are impure, it is often necessary to use flux, such as limestone, to remove the accompanying rock gangue as slag.
and I won't comment that it was that particular anagram that your mind deciphered.
this thread is doing a roaring trade, innit mate?
Im surprised the bears aren't pouring all over this one with its nonce reference and all. Perhaps they are more enlightened and less infantile than I presumed. What about you Barca, are you enlightened or infantile?
Barca
See when you came crashing down off your high horse, did the shame of assimilation finally kick in and this is your attempt to align yourself with one section of your long lost brethern?
Well it hasn't worked, you'll always be a sell-out.
of what do you speak Hector?
Aye it was a bit random right enough.
Barca being a self-hating DU fan is desperate to be a Bhoy, it's in his genes, he tries to deny it but the historical draw is too strong.
This is clearly an attempt to integrate with a his natural leanings whilst still trying to maintain some form of dignity.
Having a pop at our manager makes him feel like ritchiebhoy.
why doesn't he just support both clubs? It's not uncommon in Scotland to support a big team and a wee team.
Hector, I would love to hear you explain how my post is me having a pop at your manager. To recap, I pointed out that "sack Lennon" is an anagram of "lank nonces". I'm all ears.
It is in the genes though, you got that right. Whole family were Celtic fans until my Dad saw sense, thankfully.
It would go against his Keevinesque principles.
He's the righteous oracle don't you know?
SACK LENNON
Unless you meant Danny, in which case I apologize.
Yer dad SWITCHED!!! And he's your rolemodel...
Not one for loyalty then?
"Yer dad SWITCHED!!! And he's your rolemodel..."
Er, no Hector, he didn't switch. He just grew up supporting Utd instead of Celtic.
"Not one for loyalty then?"
My only loyalty was to Space Raiders, and that all stopped when they went to 20p.
Should have made it clear then.

Read like he was a Tim then changed for the worst.

No. My grandad was always very clear with my father about the difference between right and wrong, and how free will allows us to be better people, so he started by supporting Utd.
Barca... You and ya auld man can come back into the Celtic family if you want
A kind offer Harper, but I'll pass, thanks.
