not the case at all,
Liverpool winning the League would hold serious weight and actually be an achievement that we would all have to give credit were credit is due for, where as i think we are pretty resigned to the fact City will win the league at some point with that much money spent anyone could do the same so no big achievement and one (in my eyes at least) that doesn't deserve any respect.
Why should you choose? Surely as the team who won the league last year you should be confident of claiming it again.
Not worrying about which of your rivals you would prefer to win it?
It's just Hansen chatting bull as usual. I've never met a United fan whos said they would rather Liverpool won than City or vise versa.
liverpool wont win it
Its between utd chelsea and city
would rather chelsea if we cant do it
Why would we want Liverpool - our biggest rivals - to win it over City. I don't think i know anyone who would rather see Liverpool win it.
Give any mid table outfit 500 Million pounds and 4 years and i'd wager any of them could win the League - No achievement at all
To be fair i remember Hansen saying Chelsea would dominate english football for the next 10 years in 2003, you can't throw together a bunch of players who are there mainly for the money and expect to dominate the game, you need a team ethic which you can't just buy, we've seen already that City are out of their depth in the Champions League and even after the tevez affair you've still got players like Johnson whinging about being substituted, not good for the long term.

Liverpool are trying to prove you wrong.
Johnson shouldn't have been substituted IMO, City should have just reshuffled the formation abit. He wasn't playing badly. I'd have been angry also if I was subbed in the 1st half due to no fault of my own.

Mancini wanted to release Yaya Toure but not getting caught out on the counter in the process, it was a tactical substitution which wasn't a dig at Johnsons performance, he's supposed to be a professional and gets paid handsomely so he should behave in a professional manner imo, he's whinged about being subbed before as well,he should just accept it and go and sit down and maybe after the game ask the manager why he was taken off.
Johnson didnt over react, probably reacted the same as most footballers would in getting subbed in the first half.
The tv cameras focussed more on the event, obviously after the previous game in Munich.

I rather doubt that; if City eventually win the league - and that would be no surprise - it will have taken them more than four years (since coming into money) and will have spent more than £500m in the process.
However, I would agree with the general tenor or your argument; with virtually unlimited financial resources it would not be a huge challenge for any such club to achieve success.
There is no team I want to win the title less than Liverpool.
Captain Scarlett yet again showing that he is out of touch with reality.
