JJ is rubbish and should be disposed of.
Well, im more or less saying that as much as I want him to do well, tomorrow could be his last chance as I suspect that Meggy is getting fustrated with him, like I said, maybe he needs a little more encouragement than others, It shouldnt be that way but sadly thats the way with JJ
He's not inconsistent though, is he? He's consistently absent for most of the games he plays; contributes nothing except the vague possibility that he may run quickly at some point.
Hello chaps - how are things?
Should be 3 points for your lot tomorrow.
Chunders
Yeah I agree Izzy dont get me wrong he's never been Consistantly good, but he has shown that he can be a threat to anyone on his day and seeing as we have only, say two or three players in our squad with genuine pace, he needs to play (and be consistantly good) to give us that kind of edge.
Like i said, maybe meggy would be better lookin to bring in L Dyer on loan or summat, not sure if he's in the Leicester team or not but he would be more consistant than JJ im sure
JJ's got bags of talent. His problem lies in his decision-making. Often tries to go the wrong way round defenders, shoots when passing would be the better option and fails to shoot when he should.
As for Colchester....every game is as tough as the last, especially at home. The juicy carrot is to shatter our 100% home record. As long as our boys seek to defend that record with the same zest, then we should be okay. On paper, less than a hand-full of teams have a realistic chance of beating us, unless we have a disasterous off-day such as happened at Stevenage .
The first team is gelling nicely and gradually managing to almost pick itself. Every player knows there is a replacement waiting in the shadows if he doesn't give his all. Every game is another 3 pts. towards our immediate goal...promotion back to the championship.
Hopefully we will take advantage of Colchester's defensive dilemna and try to improve our goal-average which could well be the difference between automatic promotion or a dicey crack at the play-offs come end of season!
What's that Chunders, some kind of reverse psychology?
Yes, it SHOULD be 3 points tomorrow.
Owls 0 - 2 Colchester (Henderson 13, Buxton (OG) 90)
id start jj tomorrow, id rarely use him as sub because too often he doesnt produce when coming on.
in fact you can suss out what sort of a game hes gonna have in the first 10mins and if it looks like an off day then make a change.

I wouldn't start JJ. I'd go with Palmer or Prutts. But GM will start with JOC. Betcha.
