Man I agree, but what about the paragraphs???
Another poor game from the usual suspects today by the sounds of it
You look at the regulars in our starting 11 and you think; would they get into the starting 11 of any of the other Championship teams? I think for the majority of the starters at the moment the answer is a resounding NO!
I can't think of a team in the championship that Gillett, Stock, O'Conner, Stock, Hird, #26, Sulivan, Oster or Barnes would get into.
From what i have heard Chimbonda and Ilunga have been among our best performers. Safe to say the performances of our long term contracted players is making this McKay model look more and more attractive! Its safe to say we would have cancelled most of their loan deals a long time ago if they were loanees!
Don,I think we've lost every game since they came along. Our mini revival ended.
We were very fortunate in a few of those games, we did have one good game, we weren't playing any better than before just had the rub of the green.
Like it or not it sounds like we have committed to this McKay plan and have to commit to it. I think quite a few of the names i mentioned could well be in the fire sale come January if it keeps going as it is.
So 1 point from 7 games previously was better ? Saunders has (lost last 3 games) but has 7 points from 6 games
wishi,Im not even talking about SOD and his reign.Thats now part of Rovers history for me now.The point I was making was those 7 points for Saunders came before the 3 new players took their place in the first team.
Like you say Don we are committed to this new strategy and the next few months will get interesting.I hope it works and we stay up.
To be honest though I'm sticking my head in the sand when it comes to thinking about the long term effect on Rovers.Live for the present.
