I can't decide whether you are a Rover or Wanderer, but ur user name is very suspicious

Ha so that's it your argument about football and the great Owen coyle is losing face so you resort to questioning my loyalty to Bolton. Pathetic. Whilst your enjoying watching Bolton lose I am demanding improvements. Which of us does that make the more loyal wanderer??

Maybe the Wanderer that stood on the terraces at Aldershot Town and watched us get beat and relegated to the 4th division. I sonny know what it's like to support a club and watch them drop to the lowest of the lows and come back to fight at the top. You were still pooing on your hands and rubbing it in your face when I was making the long journey back from the South that weekend, so you don't question my loyalty son until you've been to the depths that some of us Wanderers supporters have been. You have no idea how good you've got it!

Well said Holdsworth.

And to put all things in to perspective Petrov er I suggest you have a read of this:

Yes ..and I bet you were still trying to insult everyone around you who didn't agree with you that everything was fine and dandy, and that folk shouldn't ever moan, no matter what's happening

What a pathetic response you have no idea how long I have watched wanderers for and your arrogant attitude to bwfc is laughable. I have watched bed in good and bad times with highs and lows. I have always wanted the best for them and here in lies the difference between us. I support Bolton not coyle. I want what's best for bwfc and losing games week in week out and possible relegation is not what's best for Bolton. He is not good enough. How on gods earth in the bottom three you can argue the toss fat this moment makes you sound as though you accept it. What did you think after yesterday? Be honest without creating putty excuses for coyle.

I know that was addressed at Holdsworth Petrov er, but I'll give you may take on yesterday.

The result wasn't good enough. However, until we had to move personnel around our back four looked solid and didn't look like conceding. All four of them put in some great last ditch tackles and put their bodies on the line.

Our midfield was not up to the task yesterday. Gave possession away far too cheaply and put our defence under constant pressure. Petrov and Eagles shot from distance far too often and to no effect, whilst Pratley should have done better with the couple of chances that fell to him and Reo Coker had probably his worst game of his short Bolton career.

Kevin Davies lead the line and tried to make things happen, but you can't blame him for being ineffective when he is getting no service. His frustration was written all over his face for anyone to see. Similarly Ngog isn't a miracle worker and although he managed to fashion a couple of half chances he again needed support.

We were crying out for someone in the middle of the park to put foot on ball and control things, and Mark Davies would have been perfect for that yesterday.

Coyle can't be blamed for keeping faith with the same starting 11 as last week, most people on here agreed that although changes could be made it would be harsh on the players who performed so well last time out.

At the end of the day I feel it is the players who didn't step up to the mark yesterday rather than Coyle, and it should be them who take the stick.

Just my opinion of course.

^^^^ That's a fair opinion WF, and well reasoned

Good comment WF but your letting coyle off too easy. First half was ok but second terrible. Steve Bruce will take credit for his inspiring half time team talk to fire up Sunderland who even with Boyata on were better. What happened in the wanderers dressing room?

posted on 23/10/11

Who knows Petrov, but to be honest I felt we probably edged the first half just about. I would imagine Coyle told them to go out there, try and keep possession abit better and if we continued to defend as well as we were and better in possession then we'd get chances and then we needed to take them.

I think the biggest error yesterday was in the re-shuffle of the defence. Once Boyata had to go off I personally would have moved Cahill to right-back and put Knight on in the middle. Simply because Robbo is all left foot and is always going to struggle on the right side.

Think we will see a recall for Gretar next time out seeing as he is now (potentially) our only fit right back. Which I think people were forgetting yesterday, he was dropped because of poor form not injury, lets just hope he takes his chance.

Can't disagree with that either WF ..but to be fair to Petrov, that does reflect back on OC, who failed to act on the legitimacy of your argument for moving Cahill and bringing on Knight. On another day, we might not have conceeded any goals, and OC would have been vindicated in his choice of substitutions ..but hey, that's football, innit!

Your right you live by the sword and die by the sword.

Can't argue with that Lastof, it was the wrong choice by Coyle. However, as is my habit, I'm now going to play devils advocate.

Robinson played at rightback in a few of the pre-seaon friendlies and did alright, so Coyle must have thought he'd manage alright there yesterday.

Now its not the move I would have made, however I can also understand why Coyle did it.

Other than that choice I thought most of his substitutions were good. Klasnic for Davies gave us a more direct goal threat and he had a good game, put Pratley through for what should have been an easy goal (if he could have sorted his feet out!) and generally looked lively. Kakuta for Petrov was also a good move as Petrov hadn't been having a great day.

I think had he not been forced into changes at the back we might have seen Mark Davies on for Pratley which could have changed the game in our favour.

But thats football I suppose.

The only thing I'm clinging on to at the minute - and that's by the fingernails right now- is this:

LAST SEASON/THIS SEASON comparison.
QPR - read West Ham - (won/won)
Man City (lost/lost)
Liverpool (lost/lost)
Man Utd (drew/lost)
Norwich - read Birmingham (drew/lost)
Arsenal (lost/lost)
Chelsea (lost/lost)
Wigan (drew/won)
Sunderland (lost/lost)

I make that the same number of points from those fixtures.

However, if we don't shape up and fast we'll be playing catch up for months rather than weeks. Coyle needs to sort this out and fast coz otherwise PG will have to draw up his managerial shortlist again.

Twas a question of confidence in the final third on Saturday - the final ball was rotten far too many times and it showed. Ineffective wingers trying too hard to impress when the simple pass/move was a better option. It's an easy fix but will it work?

This thread has resorted to the old 'i was there in the 4th division' im therefore holier than tho sheit now
Respect for bieng there, unfortunatly many of us...myself included are too young to have been there, therefore petrover we are not propper wanderers and have no right watching them....

Is there an English version Rebel, or do we try and translate that rubbish?

posted on 23/10/11

There is...but for now you have to cope with the android version.

Anyway, its a football forum, not an english one...poeple resort to mentioning englush grammar when they can think of nothing else to say.

I think we have another grammar police here...

................

how is it?

whats disrespectful is your attitude towards younger fans on here.

i hate some of you old timers attitudes, if it wasn't for younger fans like me there would not be a club...

anyway il rather have a prostate exam by Edward scissor-hands than discuss football with someone like you.

take the rose tinted glasses off and accept the club have moved on since the bucket rattling forth div days...i for one will not sit here and watch them go back there without voicing concerns about it...

Laughing boy if concern with current progress bores you then you aren't watching bwfc play closely enough. Rather than complain about concerned posts why don't you do the opposite. Here's one for you. Start a thread on here titled 'I love it when Bolton lose, especially enjoy being bottom three'.

This is the moment where I ask you to quote me talking about the 4th Division. Then you look back, realise you're confusing me with someone else...

At that very moment, you feel small.

Very small.

Go.

Another misquote from the chuckle brothers. I said Rebel bores me. His rants, negative 24hrs and small man mentality. He's one of the kids in the corner who tries it on with opposition fans, hiding behind stewards and police.

He types before thinking, and the sort I avoid in life.

Bolton being in the bottom 3 is another issue. Are you a little clearer in understanding this now Pet ROVER?

I don't think people care enough for you to play your game.. No offence like, but it's JA606, not the PET ROVER experiment.
