There was a flick, that's why Chamack missed! What is it with you people when we are NOT winning? It seems you don't use your brains anymore...

Maybe nothing was mentioned because your Arsenal-tinted glasses made you believe it wasn't a foul/was a penalty. Maybe it actually wasn't.

Well said OP

I'm sorry, I'm usually quite positive, but its his JOB to score goals. You know what really peeved me off though? The fact that he didnt care that he missed, he just shrugged and got up. He's laying off the ball decently in fairness to him, but he cant score for his life at the moment

Arsenal have defended very well. Koscielny and mertesacker have done very well.

Was never a free kick.

But Stoke are the best at scoring from set pieces.

All teams will concede goals from set pieces against a team like Stoke city.

Stoke tend to score a set piece goal against everyone they play, Man Utd remember. The dross they talk, Arsenal dont like it up em' etc, and the classic "Stoke can play a bit too, theyr're not just in ya face, set piece and long ball".

Stoke make life hard for any team they play but you dont hear the same drival spouted. Arsenal were doing fine until a ludicrous decision was given and that was a penalty.

Commentators are hugely negative. They don't mention the fact we have total control over the match and Stoke are extra negative.

Yet when Crouch dives, they say oh he's being clever. I'm sure if that was Chamakh they'd be saying what a cheat etc.

you are joking right?
even a stoke fan agree that wasnt a foul leading to the goal, and that if that was a foul, chamakh should definitely should have had a penalty

The trouble is that refs don't believe someone that short could possibly win a header against someone as tall as Crouch so they give him cheap free kicks all the time.

They seem unable to realise how poor he is at jumping for the ball.

What really surprises me is that there hasn't been more of a reaction to the blatant penalty we weren't given - or the appalling "tackle" by the sideline...actually, knowing the media it doesn't surprise me at all

Chamakh has never been a goal-scorer in his career, if you expect him to bag you 20 goals a season then you are going to be disappointed.

I'm not joking. Just speculating.

Couldn't agree more 50p, Crouch won his free kick! unbelievable, but come next summer we'll have endless debates on why England cant play football.
