One game equals the ''fall of an empire'' ? You sound like a Sky pundit!
do you think man city would have beat us 11 men vs 11?
if they did by that score line then yes
everything after the sending off is a write off because we had no chance - you cannot win big games with 10 men on the pitch
stop your wumming - we lost 4-1 to a better liverpool team at the time and went on to win the title
Its the odd result like this that makes United come back stronger. Mugs like you constantly have been writing United off for years and we just come back stronger. It's a reality check and wake up call. Remember losing 6-3 at Southampton and 5-0 at Newcastle..we just went on to clean up after that!!! Enjoy your moment we will be back to ram it down your throats as per normal!!!

Hardly the fall of an empire, don't be silly.
When Rome fell, there were small pockets of resistance. That is to be expected. Even Gadaffi had a couple of die hard supporters with him in that sewerage pipe.
Strangely, I was eating a cheese sandwich when that news broke. But no brown sauce.
I thought J H Baggie just irritated our board with his irritating bile. The bloke's a small club buffoon.
Very dangerous to write United off ever. Its been Blackburn, Newcastle, Arsenal , Chelsea and now City and every time United have got stronger and marched on.
15 years ago this week we were twonked 5-1 by Newcastle. There was a geordie on here celebrating the anniversary the other day.
I reminded him that we also went down 6-3 at Southampton the same month.
I also reminded him we won the title that season
Yes, I am known to do the odd bit of wumming. This, though, is a serious article.
I'm sure that when one of Gadaffi's henchmen - who was the class clown, so to speak - said:
"Boss! Boss! There's an American Drone over yonder - our Kingdom is about to topple"
That the Colonel laughed heartily and said:
"Now now Akhbar, I know you are a bit of a wum but that's stretching things too far. Have a cheese sandwich."
We all know what happened next.
