After all the !&@# that went on in the summer look at as us now! Is there any other team in the midlands enjoying this season more than we are? Ofcourse not because we're killing it!!! Hughton has done an amazing job. Kept quiet and gone about his business and we are now starting to show what we are about.
Bristol are a much better team than the league table shows and with them having a new manager and us playing away on Thursday I was expecting a loss today. Would have definately took a draw before KO. Just goes to show the charactor of the lads to keep going and grinding out results. Bristol 1 shot on target us 7.

Keep it up guys.

Would love to see a big crowd against Leeds next week; they'll bring a few down so I reckon 22/23k.

Glasgow Rangers fan here. Interested to see how wee Chris Burke is getting on? Was our young player of the year before he moved to Cardiff, no idea why they let him go. But he was a bit injury prone. Fantastic player for us and I always remember him ripping Villarreal apart in the Champioms League. How's he performing in Bitmingham ?

Burke is arguably, our best performer this season. He runs defenders ragged and pops up with some all important goals. He has been far more, than just a replacement for Larson.

Hope to see the wee man back in a Scotland Jersey

I think he would be very deserving of it!

To add to Brumsfinest Burke has started in 15 of 16 league and cup games so far. He came on as a sub in the only game he didn't start and set us up with a goal.
He is probably our most consistent player so far. Touch wood there's no sign of any niggles.
Nice to hear from a Gers fan who dont want to give us stick over McLeish.

Looking forward to our game.

Don't mistake this confidence for arrogance please, but I can't see us losing.

I know you've really hit form, but we're the form team over the last 6 games, 8 games and 10 games, and I watched you v Forest and it was terrible.

That said, seeing you in Europe is brilliant, winning 2 away games from a goal down is a fantastic achievement for a 2nd tier club and I hope you go far in the competition.

So far, you've lost every game you've played against a team from the current top half of the table and whilst that's bound to change as you march up towards the play-offs, I fancy a Leeds win on Wednesday.

Best of luck after Wednesday, Chris Hughton is a top bloke.

Hi 5569. I agree your post isn't over confident but it is cockey
Impressive run of results and its quite a surprise you're not 10 points clear at the top.
We have some impressive stats of our own, five straight wins including 2-0 against Leicester who are in the current top half of the table.
The .three losses have all come away but on Wednesday we are at home where we are unbeaten and have the meanest defence in the football league. Just the one conceded.
It will be a good game and its a long journey back t'Leeds after a loss.
Enjoy the night the best you can

It will be a tight game against Leeds, and I imagine we will struggle to win that one. However if the Leeds fan understood exactly what happened to our club and the majority of our players over the summer, he would have better understanding of why we struggled to put anything together in the first matches of the season. Different now, but as I said, we will struggle to get a result against a far better resourced and far more stable club.

Great 3 points , but our midfield spoiled the show with a very weak performance , the defence was great with C Davies being outstanding , Carr was his usual self , it was a very boring second half , but who cares now . kro.

Great result yesterday on the back of a great performance in Belgium.

As many of you know I have said at the start of the season that I don't believe we will go up this season but on the form of the last 5 games you never know. I am not going to get carried away and I still believe with the budhet CH was given that if he gets us midtable he will have done a fantastic job!

With no serious injuries we could definitely challenge for promotion, but so far we've had some unexpected positives going for us. So far so good on injuries, we didn't sell big Zig, Burke has been fabulous, Woody has been great and the defense solid, the team has gelled quicker than we might have expected (I think europe has really helped in that).

Still going to be a long, long season, but the team and manager and the fans in Bruges have been doing us proud.

Still a major achievement to give good account in Europe and end playoffs/top half of the table imo (and for Xmas new ownership with a bit of cash to finance strengthening for Premiership please). Woody, Myhill + 1 attacking mid for Foster please.

Top half teams 1st-12th

Leicester are 13th.

Care to elaborate just how Leicester are in the top half?

They were in the top half when we played them I believe?

You want to know which teams are currant?
We are on about teams raisin their game.
The resultanas important as you may think, it's how we play too.
Once you prune away a lot of the teams you will find that we are amongst the ones leftover.
If we got promotion thereafter that would be grape.

U5569.
You would make a good politician with the ability to bend and twist facts.
When we played Leicester they were currently in the top half. I don't see a problem with what I said. Be careful you don't fall deeper in your own bullsh t.
What is it with people like you? It's ok to make a statement but can't handle a reply....geezus Christ, grow a pair man and stop bleating.
If you win then whoopy flaming doo, theres loads of other games for us to win lose or draw not just yours. We're a team in transition like you were recently, or has your own bad time been forgotten already?
If you dont want discussion or can't stand the heat then don't bother to write anything.
Stop tying to cover an obvious mistake with >>>>current<<<<< ffs.
