And Arsenal!
You had it tough againt us
I'm not sure your giving enough respect to the middle tier teams. United have had a poor away record last season, I'd hardley say that playing the likes of Everton, Villa, Fulham, QPR away will be seen as certain bankers.
City have carved up most teams home and away this season.
They have a formidable group of players that I think will only grow in confidence.
This is the Premier League, United or any top team are guaranteed nothing automatically.
I would rather have points in the bag than play a catch-up. Having said that City do have a tougher set of fixtures in next few motnhs than us. If we keep our foucs we should bridge some of this gap by Christmas.
However the worrying thing for me is the defence. We don't really have good back-up in that area plus Fergie keeps rotating even in the bigger games. Every time the opposing team attacks we just exaggerate their effectiveness by our sloppiness. I think Vidic needs to play every single PL game and we should have either Smalling or Rio playing most of those games as well. Too many players in back-6 not up to mark. This needs to be settled sooner rather than later. If not we could lose more points from the 'easier' games ahead that we should be winning.
10 out of a possible 15 points against Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Man City...
It's not too bad..
Considering our fixtures the season overall has been fairly good...
We were spoilt for a few games... we never usually start the season well, yesterday was just a return to the usual just a little more painful. Let us hope we can kick into gear later into the campaign.
I think Aldershot will give you a better game than the team Arsenal put out, so strictly speaking I wouldn't count them.
city have had a very easy start to the season and have only played against relegation fodder,

didnt they play the greatest team in the world yesterday, here some straws why not clutch them lol
everton away is our last tough fixture
after that its mostly mid table clubs like fulham, blackburn, qpr etc.
and champions league newcastle.

But all of the above accept for Liverpool have been at home, so you have all the top teams to play away in the 2nd half of the Season...
