I like it when he works those socks of his right off his feet.

Gerrard cannot be inspirational, he never plays.

He should be stuffed and mounted pitchside.

Totally agree ZZ, didn't have the greatest game against Norwich, but that isn't his type of game, he should be playing in the big games only.

Good article .

Didn't see the norwich game, but it's just whenever i see liverpool play, it always seems to be kuyt that is everywhere, getting back and challenging, getting forward and making things happen.

I have a couple of liverpool fan mates who never seem to appreciate his work ethic, and i just can't understand it.

He hasn't won us anything. Let the new generation show us if they got it. Thanks for the sympathy for the devil.

What's confusin you is the nature of my game?

We have a kuyt who's name is jonas. But ours is better at dribbling.

Isn't that why Park is popular for your team?

Kuyt has passed his best. He must take a step back and join some foreign league.

so it is ok to be rubbish at football as long as you run lots during the game?

kuyt is hardly rubbish. He isn't a rooney, an aguero or a torres (on form) but he is a very important cog in the liverpool team. he does more in linking the midfield and attack than most players, pops in with a respectable goal tally considering most of his time is on the right and keeps the opposition on their toes.

every team could do with a player or two like that. I know for damn certain sure that arsenal could.

Kuyt gets in the Dutch team.

I bet he's a pain in the rear to play against as well.

Well they say genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration. Surely that makes Kuyt a footballing genius??!

Sadly I don't think that applies to sport. Top level football is decided on small margins - the 1%. Kuyt doesn't have this, Gerrard most certainly does.

Kuyt plays well scores goals and is generally a superb player for Holland. I would suggest he has been wasted by various Liverpool managers.

Or you could have Ashley Young who has flashes of brilliance but is then anonymous for the rest of the game and doesn't work hard for his team. I know who I'd rather have in my team. And just in case you don't get what I'm referring to, it would be Dirk Kuyt.

Kuyt continues to perform for Liverpool and for the Netherlands scoring goals for both and running himself into the ground for both. He continues to be shot down and never gets the appreciation, does he that make him stop? No, he continues to do it.

This is a player who children everywhere should learn from. This is a player that shows the children out there that pace does not make you a good footballer, that anybody can be with the right amount of work and dedication.

You're only a good player if you're flashy, moody and inconsistent.

Therefore Kuyt isn't a good player.

It was the reason I married her. Well that and the consistency. I'm now left with just the flashing, the moods and the non-existent sax.
