I've just realised why it's not advanced to division 1.

One of the players I beat quit while I was playing them. The game recognises it on the screen saying I'm champions, but in the match it mentions that I'm still going for the title. Basically it's not counting the game I won where he quit (I was 3-0 up in the second half).

This game has so many glitches.

My winning streak came to an abrupt end. Lost a bronze quarter final match 1-0 to a guy who was decent but got a lucky break to score then time wasted the last 15 minutes (I messaged him saying he ruined a good game, he messaged back calling time wasting a "legitimate tactic" ) then got pumped 4-1 in a gold match I just didn't play well in at all.

Now I'm being made to watch Strictly

Time wasting is a legitimate tactic. I used to get annoyed by it but then I just thought 'why not?'.

I think it's a legitimate tactic in the last 5 minutes in a cup final or if you need a point/win for a title or not to get relegated. I won't lie, I've done it before myself.

But it was a bronze cup quarter final.

That's just sad.

Not really. Any way you can with the game without cheating is valid. Why would you give your opponent a chance to get a result if it's close? Try to keep possession, run down the clock, limit their chances and create your own.

Because it's only a computer game and it's a bit sad to play in a way that goes against the spirit of the game. It's unsporting and you can complain/block a player for unsporting behaviour.

If you're going with that argument then why doesn't everyone just do it as soon as they take the lead?

I could even accept it with a couple of minutes to go, but not 15.

I time waste in a tough game, sometimes I start with like 20-30 minutes left, I don't see the big issue, it's fun winning.
