I like your team better although obviously getting Mandanda would make it better.

How does Lopez play?

Is anyone else's tradepile acting up? I just checked mine and I see players that I sold weeks ago still marked as sold in my pile

Agreed! Would you say fifa13 is harder than 12? Most people I have spoke to said they anticipate that their records in 13 would be much worse than 12! You do play alot...I have played less games than you have draws

I think that's a hard question. To put it simply I'd say yes, it is harder but there's lots of reasons for that.

Firstly with Seasons especially you rarely find yourself up against poor players - once you get to division 1 you're only going to be coming up against people who are good. Getting a cheap win is much harder now especially at gold level (although still possible in the cups - I've won semi finals and even a final by massive margins).

Another thing that's made it harder is the increasing use of defensive and ultra defensive play. In FIFA 12 you rarely saw people doing this but now it seems like most games people either start defensive or go defensive once they score. It does make it much harder (and less enjoyable for me).

Another thing that I've noticed is that the formations seem much more important in FIFA 13. Generally if you give someone time and space in the game they'll take advantage of it and score. I've had games where I've started off in one formation and been absolutely battered in the first half, then changed it in the second half and then been all over my opponent. I think understanding formations and which formations will give you an advantage could be important in this game.

Obviously pace seems more important in this game too.

I'm not sure if it's harder as such but I think there is definitely more to think about in this game than in FIFA 12.

yeah im using the ultra attacking and defensive tactics more now im coming up against people of a similar level

What I see alot of is people setting up with ultra defensive tactics from the very start and having two very pacy forwards and they just chip it over the top constantly.

Normally I'll have something like 60% posession but I guess they're playing the percentages in that doing this will generally give them a couple of good chances in the game, even though they'll hardly have the ball.

I had a look at a players stats after a game who did this (he played 532 and just tried to lift it over the top). His top player for making passes was on 13 (one of his forwards) while my lowest passer was on 16. I think that tells a story of how the game went!
