You've not even played PES properly
There's a reason why FIFA is more popular, that's all I'm saying.

The main reason's probably the licensing. That's part of the reason why I buy it. Big advantage to have lots more good teams and leagues. Not Saudi though. Ahem. Kent.
Ivan I don't have to play it properly, from the demo alone I can tell there are lots of areas where it is good and where FIFA needs improving.

The trailer looks brilliant. Looks like they've made chip shots good again, hopefully.
One thing I liked in the PES demo was the stadium feeling real with the stewards, managers etc. Lookin in the background it looks like FIFA has definitely matched that which is useful. Think I spotted a few subs warming up. People always say MAKE THE CROWD MOAR REALISTIC which I don't think is a priority. I think the crowd in FIFA look better than PES, but for me they need to a) put them in the right places in real stadiums and b) make them react realistically.
I tought chip shots where spot on in FIFA 12. In FIFA 10 they went in every time.
No FIFA 12 chip shots are too hard. In real life the keeper will more than likely commit which means you can just chip it over them while they're sliding in. However on FIFA 12 the keeper would be standing as he was close to you which meant it was too hard to do chip shots.
This is just my opinion though.

They should make bringing the keeper out in a 1 on 1 manual and not the stupid automatic lock on which beats you every time if you can't see the keeper on the camera

Yeah, I suppose the satisfaction of scoring a chip shot is a lot greater now than it used to be, which is good.
On the trailer it looks like they've added some good skill moves as well. They look good and realistic, hope they're like that on the game.
Also did you have the problem on FIFA that sometimes you'd do a berba/McGeady spin and it'd stop halfway through you doing it. That was annoying.

I actually really liked doing this, came in handy.
Yeah, but it'd do it when I didn't want it to
You do, because that's how it happens
Apparently it's usually the last of the EA bit
Need for Speed now. I'd guess the Sims after that then, some American sports rubbish then FIFA
