where did you get robson from?
Don't panic, don't panic.
Im genuinely terrified this is going to happen.
The owners are very well connected to the Thai national team, and he is probably the most known football manager to the Thai public.
I'm scared.
As the club have said clearly they will be makng no further comment until they appoint a new manager may I ask where you found out " that the owners are supposed to be looking for a "High Profile" replacement for Sven, and someone who will be well known in Thailand "?
The Cabin Boy :
That was the entire reason they appointed Sven - They wanted a globally recognisable manager, to be able to aid the brand building in Asia.
That is the same reason we signed "The Japenese Beckham" in Yuki Abe.
And I very much fear it will be the reason we get Bryan Robson.
No way on Bryan Robson - the reason they sacked Sven was because they are business people and realised they need to get out of this division. Surely now they will appoint someone fit for that task. They brought players fit for Championship football so I imagine they now realise a manager with Championship experience is the best way forward - they are not total idiots.
Robson was the first name I thought of too. Did you see the TV expose on Thailand's involvement in buying/selling football clubs & other dodgy stuff. It heavily featured Bryan Robson. He was so in with them; he came out of it looking really bad. It worries me because they may think he's a huge name in football. getting rid of Sven does not make me feel confident they actually know what they're doing. I can't believe we're on the managerial merry go round again.
For all this big name manager stuff, maybe the owners have realised with Sven that it doesn't always work and they should just appoint the best man available, regardless of what his name is. Their aim is to get King Power and LCFC promoted all over the world and whilst a big name manager will help, the best way to do it is to get into the Premier League and to do this, you have to appoint the best you can to manage your team.

Agree with this.
Calm down, I'm 90% sure it won't be Robson, especially as he failed with the Thai national team.
