I admire what they've all overcame to get to where they are I just don't really find it entertaining. There is only so many times you can hear what an inspiration etc before it gets patronizing to both the competitor and the actual competition becomes something you watch and pity.

True. Although at the risk of sounding critical/offensive or something I don't think there should be too much positive discrimination towards disabled athletes/people in general. Obviously they should be respected, extremely so but like Ewing said when it gets to this insanely patronizing point you can't help but feel it's ingenuine and people are just trying to be overly PC.

Positive Discrimination IS too much. As someone who is mixed race I've experienced racism and discrimination in the past, but I hate to see when crimes between people of two different races are treated differently as to when they're the same race. It's just stupid.
