Listening to Defector last night was probably a mistake since it's now available anyway officially. Went through all that trouble figuring out what software to download.

if you fancy being in with a chance of showing your managerial quality how about you try LSTD's Premier League on the sports gaming board.

Sports Gaming to some is for little kiddies however the fact 95% of the league members are in their 20s or higher proves otherwise.

This league allows you to take control of your own squad of 30 (with several squad rules such as the HG rule and max of 18 foreign players) and then negotiate possible transfer dealings with other members. Once or twice a week depending on how many competitions you are in, you will have to post tactics (1000 word limit). The league runner or one of his 2 partners will then compare the team and tactics and then decide the most likely outcome the result would be.

The main homepage comprises of an overall 16 league members talking about their team, transfer dealings, real life football and other topics that could be unrelated to football. Lets just say this league is kind of another board in itself.

LSTDs league has been running for 7 seasons now and soon to be entering the 8th season. it started back in 2009 and is as strong as ever. This proves the league is highly successful and enjoyable.

The current teams that are available are:

Man City
Wolves
Everton
Hull

These teams are some of the leagues best and so you wont be stuck with some rubbish no one wants. The reason they are vacant was because the previous members no longer had time to take part.
