did you hear about steve jobs?

I wonder if apple will now start to make things that work properly rather than just look good.

Yes I heard about Steve Jobs RIP

I don't use any Apple products so can't comment on their performance. I have friends who work in media related industries and know that they would be unable to do what they do without them though.

there are a hundred and one products that do the same thing, but better and more reliably.

there is no denying apple are innovators, but you can 100% guarantee that within 6 months of them making something, other companies will be doing the same things but with far more usability, durability and reliability. Apple rush things out before they're ready in an attempt to be the first (and if lawsuits are to be believed, usually with other people's technology)

I have a mate who is a huge apple fanboi, yet doesn't find it strange that he has to visit the apple store to get one of the products repaired at least once a month.

As you can probably tell... i'm not a fan

There are always going to be people who have problems with any product.

Windows 7 seems to be particularly vulnerable to viral attacks. And don't get me started on Internet Explorer V9.
