Do you watch Ninja Warrior?
You really need to start watching it. It is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111114
Ninja warrior is amazing. I agree Barry.
Westerners are always to big for the competition however.
I'm around 5'10 and I can do most of the obstacles. I mainly do stage 3 style stuff in my training cos I'm all upper body. The newest cliffhanger is ridiculous though. Can do the older ones but that one is a joke. You?
Im 5'11 so I feel my body weight a bit when im hanging by my finger tips
I've also tried the one where have to hang on to those metal ball things with each hand....not fun.
Im very good with balance obstacles and speed. Used to surf and skateboard.
Ah right. I do pull ups and dips with extra 35-40kg on my weight belt. So body weight seems like nothing. Want to try the salmon ladder. You would be good at the jumping spider, I'm not so good at it.
I used to run and lift so much that when I did get around to concentrating on pullups I was suprised that I felt next to nothing in weight. Hurt my back at work so took about a years hiatus. Now im trying to get back into form. Not easy. It was a slipped disk. Caused havoc with nerves on the left side of my body.
Pull ups with 35 - 40 kg extra???
That's extremely impressive Barry!
Bodyweight used to be my specialty but as I relied more and more on free weights without and cardio my endurance completely left me! I'm hoping as I slim down for the new season it'll all come back though
Yeah I used to be a long distance runner at school and had endless stamina, then when I started lifting weights the endurance kind of went. I haven't had a bad injury yet but If I do get injured itl be very bad. I only weigh 70kg so need the extra 35kg on my belt for pull ups. Also good at the gym to show rugby players that you can still do pull ups if you weigh over 100kg. No excuses rugby players!
When I go to the market I kick off the carts wheels to make pushing the cart manly-er
When I shampoo my hair in the shower I keep my eyes open just to feel the burn
When I go for a number 2 I put the toilet seat back up if there are women in the house.
I throw sticks and twigs on top of the stove and start my own fire with flint rock when warming up bowtie pasta
When I sniff a flower I make sure to f@rt at that same moment
I sleep on the hardwood floor next to my tempur-pedic bed
I don't wear my seatbelt when the plane is taking off.
My shirts remove their own sleeves.
I don't use the brakes when driving my car. I just stick out my foot and scrape it along the road when I need to stop.
When I break my leg I break the other to show it its not so tough.
