a short while ago TV was better than vidic. ok, i guess you can let that pass on team loyalty etc.... but now ferdinand carries vidic and makes him look good, and even terry is better
If i was to rank those 3, personally, it would without a shadow of doubt be vidic, terry, ferdinand.... with a big gap between terry and ferdinand (nearly as big as the ones they used to leave in the middle of the england defence)
how, seriously, can anyone rate ferdinand as better than vidic? the guy is about as good a cb as you're ever likely to see!

I'm not sure i'd go as far as the world, there are others i think are on a par with him, such as Pique, but in this country, he has been the stand out man for a number of years now.
But, i guess everyone is entitled to an opinion. even if it's wrong.

there used to be a poster on the original 606 called John, who had a habit of overly bigging up the youngsters and criticising popular players, but did it in a semi intelligent way. he was generally regarded fairly well, particularly in terms of knowledge of the youngsters, though as stated, he did go overboard a bit.
Since the move to ja606, there is another poster called john, who claims to be the same one, but i'm not so sure, as he almost seems like a caricature of the old john. the bigging up has got more extreme, as has the criticism, and the use of 'lol' has become a running joke, it's on the end of most lines he types.
Whether he is the same guy or not, he is rapidly becoming a figure of fun.... and not in a good way. (lol).
