Bombays a great, live and vibrant city. Definitely not clean well not in some parts, but an amazing city.
Weekend was OK. annoying having my time wasted though...
had 4 people in to look at car...
1) decides clutch is too heavy after her volvo - why the hell is sho looking at sports coupes???
2) didn't turn up
3) mrs moaned to hard to get kids seats in and out of back - why the hell are they lookngi at sports coupes?
4) didn't turn up.
though i do have another coming to look at it today... fingers crossed.
guy who spent all yesterday evening texting me (why not just bloody ring????) seems keen, is going to call today after getting an insurance quote.
well, i mgiht be carless after lunch.... he's coming to see it at 12-noon.
ZZ what car you selling?
This is the wrong time to sell cars, no one really buys at this time.
Is it a drop top? Sell it the beginning of summer you will get more for it.
fred - yes, some cheap runaround
Goonz - it's my prelude BB4, and yes, I know it's the wrong time of the year, but doing at the right time of the year will mean shelling out for another MOT and insurance...
Ah of course....the dreaded insurance and MOT!
the insurance is one of the main reason's i'm selling. with tax and insurance alone it's costing close to £100 per month... that's before actually putting any fuel in it. with the amount of miles i'm doing it just isn't worth keeping it.
I was going to ask about insurance on a car that big. Must be a bit of a killer!
i'm 35 with a clean license and 8 years no claims, it's still £76 per month....
Do you do a lot of miles every month?
Bloody hell that's expensive!
--------------------------------
and yet by far the cheapest i could find.... includes 15% off for being in the owners club
group 18, imported and modified = ouch!
Thats not a bad quote then....still more than you would like to be paying of course.
Have you tried coverbox? Its a pay as you drive system, works on the number of miles you do.
Do you do a lot of miles every month?
-------------------------------------
no. for the last few years i've averaged about 2k per year... at least in part because i can't afford the fuel! 20mpg, less if i boot it
oh yeah... it's good fun. puts a big smile on my face.... but it's an expensive smile
the imported and modified actually isn't that bad, only adds about an extra 10%. its the fact it has a better pwoer to weight ratio than a scooby wrx, lotus elise or golf r32 that pushes it way up.... that and the fact hondas are popular for car thieves.
