Alvin: roses are red, violets are blue.......
Alvin were you in the army?

I won't go there!
Right RVPM, erm dress smart I went for black trousers Shirt tie knitwear jumper and black shoes.
Try to come across as confident, it is better to talk too much about yourself than too little. I tend to elaborate on what they ask that is interesting yet dont stray off topic, like when asked about my outside interests I say that I play a lot of sports as I am quite competitive and strive to become better at the sports I play.
Most importantly be polite, smile and dont bring any nasty habits like chewing gum into the interview. However dont be worried at the end of the day you have an interview, unless you want to go to Cambridge or Oxford you are already VERY likely to get in to do what degree you want.
The thing about unis is they actually care more about the money they can milk off of you, than the degrees that people come out with.
Also dont say that Arsenal are better than tottenham, otherwise they will think you are mental
Yeah I was kamran. Got a medical discharge though mate. You thinking of joining?

For my interview at Strathclyde though I had already got into Edinburgh, and asked the guy why I should chose Strathclyde over Edinburgh. I think he liked the fact that I genuinely cared about which uni I went to and they love to big themselves up.
I was always going to chose edinburgh

Alvin, nah mate, I don't think I will be joining any of the public services. If I were to join I'd probably join the Fire service
Just be yourself RVPM. Unis have a huge array of different people, some are incredibly timid and probably sat in silence through there interview, so are over confident and porbably spoke about themselves for most of it.
As long as you aren't a bell, show some potential and have the grades etc then you will be fine. Unless as Edin said, you're trying to go to cambridged or something.

Are they going to ask anything about the subject, specifically, d'you reckon. Anything i should pre-read etc.? What type of engineering did you do?
------------------------
For me no, (Im a third year doing Mechanical Engineering atm). From what I heard only Cambridge and Oxford do that... They dont expect you to know anything really, just to be smart.
Alvin makes a good point, the amount of quiet Orients without character who have had interviews and got in is ridiculous. If you have an interview you are probably in anyway
My mate is at oxford and literally just had to solve a maths question.
