well it was a lower back pain hippo to the point where i couldnt even do a sit up, just started with basic yoga stretches probably best to look around on the internet for them, i forgot the sites i used and names of moves so not that much help but look it up
The girls in other series got better though Andy apart from that they got worse

hippo, i get neck pain from a nerve issue and visited a physio for it - got given loads of stretches etc to do and it faded over the next six months or so. still get the odd twinge if my posture is bad, but nothing like what it was.
No i didn't see a specialist, it's mainly from me being taught to lean forward while playng hockey when younger
if it's your neck then i would recomend deffinatly going to see a doctor, took me about 4 months before i noticed a big improvement still get twinges but stretch off alot so it's ok, stretches also tone you so 2 in 1

do you have a bath or a shower at home?
if a bath, run it good and hot, slide underwater and do the stretches underwater, i found it really helped me. it's slow process though, and if you're not making your posture better then it defeats the prupose.
the massaging is good, but only treats the symptoms, not the cause.

The main stretch (also the only one i know the name of) is called the bridge but i balance on my head as well as my arms so wouldn't recomend it if you have neck ache

how did you improve yours, just stretching?
---------------------------------------------------------
if you sit in office chairs a lot, try a lumber roll - although it wasn't the area that the problem was, using one helped me to sort my posture, which in turn helped my neck - just a simple rolled up towel will do, position it in the lumber region of your spine to encourage it into a proper curve.
Wouldn't hurt to also ask a doctor to check you for a curvature or anything like that.
oh, and the other big thing with posture is when walking - make sure your shoulders are back and head up; don't slouch around like i used to.

yeah i try victor gooner but it is hard.

i know. took me about a year to change my walking habits, i'd keep forgetting and slip into slouch-mode, but if you stick with it, eventually it becomes automatic.
