no, euros are over before the olympics start.
not that it matters anyway, there is a 0% chance of the fa doing the right thing and sacking capello.
Pearce isn't ready for the england team, Capello is a good manager, he does get us results. And seeing as if capello goes they will appoint the wheeling dealing tax thief then he should stay
Why should he be sacked?
-------------------------------------------
moral absurdity.
he stripped terry of the armband when it was alleged he had slept with someone else's mrs, but then states that he shouldn't be stripped of it when the same person is alleged to have racially abused someone.
by doing so, he is saying that racism isn't as bad as putting it about. - and that's not to mention breach of contract by publicly slating the decision of his bosses - which handily means he can be sacked for free.
just a shame the fa have no stones so it won't happen.
I agree that terry being given the boot as captain is correct. But he should have been involved in the decision making process.
Capello that is and i can see why he is annoyed. Good on him for saying it
The Redknapp trial makes no sense at all. He was cleared of charges because the jury said the money was an investment but then harry himself says it was a bonus for crouch
Capello that is and i can see why he is annoyed. Good on him for saying it
------------------------------------
he also said that as far as he is concerned terry is still the captain.... to my mind that is undermining his bosses, publicly, and with his previous actions saying that racism isn't as bad as putting it about, to me it makes his position entirely untenable - but unfortunately i don't expect the fa to do anything about it, so it's moot point, unfortunately
He should have been involved in the decision. We will never win anything if the FA and our manager are seperate

he was. he told the fa that he didn't think he should be stripped of it, they decided that he should, then capello bitched about it publicly and said as far as he was concerned terry was still the captain.
I still think he should stay as manager, we havn't been beaten in over a year
Leiva, it seems you thread has turned into TOOR + Fred vs the world
I've given up - Seems neither of them want to listen to sense and just keep going on and on about the PC brigade banning the word 'black'
Oh god Freds found someone that agrees with him, god help everyone else having to read his crap

hadn't we lost in a similar period of time before the last world cup?
My personal feeling on the matter is that he shouldn't be manager, but ignoring that and looking at it only logically - we have 0% chance of winning the euros realistically, and he is going straight after them. If we were to go into them with a new manager, we still wouldn't win, but in 2 years time that man will have experience of managing in a international tournament, something which none of the candidates except pearce at under21 level currently have - and i think that could help.
On a less logical note - capello is just a boring old grandad with as much passion for the england football team as a cricket bat does for the game of tennis. - and that rubs off on the players, so they play like they don't care.
irrefutable evidence that fred has mutated into a 'chin'...

Suarez has not apologised to Evra in any form.
Show me evidence to the contrary.

Suarez has personally apologised to Evra without the need of the media.
Show me evidence to the contrary.

Fred must realise that when VC is a better poster than you, something must be up?
