Some observations from last night

Anelka - what was that penalty tosh...(yes I know there was a lazer being pointed, but the run up (walk up) just doesn't instill confidence

Turnbull - ok fair enough - he doesn't play much & you can't expect much - took one for the team (no loss)

Cech - yet again showed utter class coming on cold & double saving - respect fella

That kit... awful , just awful

Beating Everton away in the Mickey Mouse - that was a long shot - but we did it.

Josh - nice to see him playing & did ok from what I saw

Not going to read all 420 comments so someone else may have picked this up. Was really, really peed off that Baines's penalty wasn't retaken given Cech is standing in fron of the line and then takes a massive step forward before Baines strikes it.

Disappointed but didn't expect to win anyway, was encouraged by the fact that we were the better team even if it was Chelsea's second string. Drenthe other than the sending off looks like a right player though and would be hoping Moyesy is typing up the contract offer...

to be fair when it was 11 vs 11 i thought we were the better team, and had we put away those easy first half chances, the game would've been put to bed by half time
