that was supposed to say define me being deluded please
Look at the team of 1990 and 1996, they was getting up to all sorts and we would won both of them if it wasn't for penalty's

Did you watch these tournaments, like the rest of us?
Yes i did, so can you explain how we would have won if it weren't for penalties.
In both tournaments we got beat by the winners of the tournament in germany, we was the better team over the 120 minutes in both games, with the best player on the pitch in both with gazza. Tell me how u seen these games?
Pretty much as you described, although i think we were much the better team in turin whereas at wembley i thought it was more even, still i don't see how you can claim we would have won.
Well i think we would of beat Czech Republic as they was a surpirse to be there at the time and a tougher task i think we would of gone on to beat Argentina

If Terry is guilty, send him to your old club - Wet Sham.

100% agree.
Whilst we cannot for sure say we would have won, we would definitely have been favourites to do so.
Again, even if we did get beat in the final its hardly a disgrace for the nation is it?
In every tournament there is always at least 4/5 possible winners when it starts. Only one of them teams can actually lift the trophy. This doesn't mean the other 3/4 hopefulls should be ashamed of their respective nations for failing.
People only remember the winners, but i will never forget the highs, the passion, the thrills & proudness i felt throughout them campaigns.
And i'll feel exactly the same the next time we play in one.
