Long time custodians of the old 606 will recall the night we slammed the Glens 6-0 in the Setanta Cup
"Sure it was only the setanta"
Shockingly Bad result but the 4-1 League result was much more important
Good luck in the final - Your boss needs a trophy, however inconsequential, or will soon be joining the mass ranks of the Unemployed.
Yup, and you could add our 6-0 defeat to Coleraine to that too. We know all about it, but the way we are banging them in lately we might redress that on November 9th in front of the nation.
Aren't your squad supposed to be light years ahead of the rest of us these days or something ?
Looking forward to Nov 9th. Friday night kick off too.
You're improving no doubt, but dont take one bad result for us as a guide.
Big Davy will be fuming. Expect a reaction on Saturday and over the next few games
And we're not light years ahead of anyone.
Last night proved that
Not exactly one bad result though is it. You lost to us earlier in the season when everybody was beating us, then you had Ballyclare, Glenavon and numerous other games you have scraped home in unconvincingly. On the other hand, a lot of credit must go to Cliftonville for their performance. They have had some good results lately and at this stage would probably be favourites for the final, although a month is a long time in football as you will know Earl. By the way think that re-arranged game is a Wednesday night.
It is rare for us to be thumped but we have been unconvincing. Missing Thompson and Mulgrew more than some supporters believe
Match is Wednesday.
Just clipped the Glen man who works with me for passing on dud information.
Have to rearrange the Visa now.
The sixth goal was a little strange.
The Peoples Club....do you sing We are the people as well then?
Think you'll find it's other supporters who are saying we're light years ahead of the rest of the league,Bluemen will tell you different Peoples Club, our form has been patchy to say the least, yeah sure we've had afew good results but we've also scraped afew too,as for the other night full credit must go to Cliftonville for an outstanding performance,as for us we'll bounce back like we always do,but hey thats what makes the season so exciting!!!
