7 down now with Shafiq going for 59. 155 lead nevertheless.
Steady as you like from pakistan......Akmal looking very good.... Need to a lead of 200 at least. Lankans must be shattered
As somebody just said on CMS.
A replay of the first test.
Hope not Ginger as that would require Pakistan dropping catches again.
Agree with you Afridi in regards to Adnan Akmal. I could not believe Salman took over from him when Adnan keeps well and is handy with the bat. Rehman can bat too so hopefully a 200 lead is on the reckoning.
Rehman gone, lost his cool alittle there dancing down the track....
here comes the gulster.... I know 5th November isnt far off, but expect fireworks now!!!
Horrible shot from Rehman
Tell you what, why dont we just wait for the 5th november instead???
Lol Afridi whenever u big up Gulster he never delivers.
Thats goodbye to our 200 lead.
I think being bowled out now is good news for Pakistan, it prevents them batting on too long and ending up with a drawn game as happened in the first test.160 runs is still a formidable deficit with two and a half days remaining.
You are correct Hope but as Pak fans we always worry about a 160 chase on final day as Pak are known to bottle it. Still you would take this postion everytime and the pitch does have more rought patches as opposed to the Abu Dhabi so our 3 spinners should come into play more this time.
akmal should take his chances i suppose.
So a 164 lead it is. A late cluster of wickets for Sri Lanka and now its down to the Pak bowlers to make early inroads.
164 is still a good lead, we'd have taken that before our innings.... but 4 wickets for 9 runs, typical pakistan.
If lanka get a lead of say 200+..... then watch this space!!!!

Bad comment by me Neon and now removed.
Hafeeziii hitting the bail Swannesq. Looks like the spinners hold the key as there is turn against the left hand batsman. No doubt it will be a different game now that Sanga is at the crease.
Clear edge not given and now a missed stumping.
egde not given??? Is it Tony Hill back in the business!
considering Pakistan's inability to chase, this match looks from here an evenly matched contest despite we still have a hundred runs lead. It has and its still down to the bowlers, they really need to restrict Srilankans and leave an easier task for the batsmen.
I think we can call todays day as Sri Lanka day. Pakistan should have got a bigger lead and they should have got more wickets. We can't find a way to get Sanga even when he nicks one too.
