Amir remember that 7ft joker that u used to big up all the time? Anyway his stats do look good even though he has a girls name.

posted on 30/10/11

Amir, the guy has a very very good record and if it continues he'll come into the pak team....But, with junaid performing the way he is, gul taking wickets and wahab and cheema on the bench - I dont think we need him. Another year or so in domestic cricket will do him good.

Kash, first of all that 7ft geeza was utter rubbish, he came back to domestic Cricket because he was not good enough/was kicked out of domestic cricket, then from there he managed to make his way back to domestic Cricket and a few International games. This guy is different.

Look at Cummins, he's a tall lad and he's a great bowler. Agree, with Afridi, though, a year in domestic Cricket will do him good... but he's in crazy form!

Wouldn't it be great, if he were given a chance? and someone like Wahab, Cheema pushed further back it would show massive strength.

P.S: Since when was Sadaf a girls name?

Think you guys are being abit harsh on MO Irfan, pakistan always produce top quality bowlers, and hes the only one that has truely failed big time, 1 donkey in 20 potentials is a very good ratio...Lol. Ps, the guy was clumsy as folk!!!

Amir, I suspect if they really wanted to give sadaf a chance, they'd have given him an opportunity vs zimbs.

We need an opener (im still not convinced by taufeeq) and we need umar akmal to be given a run of games and a danda to sort out his attitude. If that was to happen, we'll be in a very good position for the next 5-10 years.

Leave, Umar for ODI's for now...

Imagine, if we can get Mohammed Yousuf, and Kaneria, fit and in-form to play for Pakistan. Such a shame there are certain people who don't want them playing for Pakistan.

Also, do you relaise if pakistan win this series, we and we whitewash bangladesh and the aussies lose to saffers, we'll go 5th in the ranking tables just 2 points behind the Aussies. With the aussies playing India in the winter and us taking on england....... 4th place a possibility come the test championships? ........... Ok, fair enough maybe Im dreaming a little with our fielders, but you just never know. The last 18 months, we have been very consistent. Hope it continues.

I was one of those calling for yusuf to return, but to be fair Azar Ali has fitted in perfectly and I dont see pakistan recalling yousuf now. Lets look to the future, Ali has proved he has potential. Agreed about danish..... maybe the new pcb chairman will reconsider.

In a way if you think about it when the likes of Yousuf were not selected we moaned, got hammered by England etc... but those decions by those high above, have actually proved to have done us wonders.... Rehman wouldn't have given a chance, if Kaneria was still here and he's doing well.

And, you've just explained how well Azhar is doing.

Yeah, but the selection for the england tour was pathetic still amir.... No younis, no yousuf, no misbah, and we had imran farhat in the team..... whoever selected that team should have got the death penalty to be fair!! Also, still got question marks over shafiq, he blows hot and cold.

posted on 30/10/11

Ps, amir, i think you should change your username now...... "its time to break into the top 4" isnt realistic anymore for a wee club like yours..... ASTON VILLA IN THE TOP 4.......

Agree, about Shafiq, but at least he's scoring... W/K is doing well, would prefer Fawad Alam in the team though over Shafiq

One thing these guys struggle with is rotating the strike in Tests, and Alam is tailor made for that. He's not your boundary hitter, plus his first class average is mad... Indian like.

Lol, Afridi, at least we're in the PL, brother. Plus, we only conceded 4 goals against Man City, better than a certain Manchester United... !!!

Guys that immediately should be DESELECTED are :

1) Imran Farhat
2) Imran Farhat
3) Imran Farhat
4) Shoaib Malik

Unless we eliminate nepotism from our system, no1 ranking will always remain elusive.

you people want to see danish kaneria back who bowls 50 overs, concedes150 runs to pick up a 5 fer..

posted on 30/10/11

The man with gloves had big contribution in Kaneria's figures. He dropped 15 catches off his bowling.

To be honest I just want Yousuf to come back, just to see if his beard has grown bigger than Hashim Amla's!

Saying that, he was at a primary school near by yard not so long ago, he came with Saqlain Mushtaq...took a picture with the kids etc..., including my aunty's daughter.

Apparently they're coming back early next year I'm defo going to meet him...legend!

We don't actually realise how much love we have for these guys until they stand in front of us...then we realise. Pakistan Zindadbad!

I'm not into Pakistan politics, but we all know Imran Khan is in Pakistani politics. I do recall a while ago when Imran Khan was on the run, people were after him etc... I bet these are the same people that idolised him when he was a player. I would never do such a thing, never could and never would.

I was in an audit engagement team of a T.V Channel in Pakistan and I came across an ex-minister, infamous for frauds etc, yet I shook hands with him and smiled. He had come for an interview on a certain programme.

Pakistani politicians are just as thick as blood, I recall one politician admitting to corruption and to add to that he said it's his right to be corrupt!!! wtf man!?

MoYo is now finished. We need to forget about him now. Too much of an ego and was well known to revolt when Malik took over as skipper. He must be well into his late 30s now and we have young batsman that need a run in the team. As for Kaneria, for me he is still the 2nd best spinner in the team but Rehman so far has not let us down.

Amir I've only known girls to be called Sadaf as well as the name Misbah.
