Dos Dados, never has a truer word been spoken on here. We are all hypocrites and we all look through rose tinted glasses. I remember hating Sutton and Thomson with a passion, yet would have loved them if they played for Rangers. Likewise Nacho Novo was a horrible human being, cheating, spitting, elbows to the face the lot. Yet he was a Rangers legend and I loved him!

I am not with you U6994.

What has the media got to do with anything? I am confused. Please expand.

To your credit Ghodfather you have seen sense and climbed down.

Yes Ghodfather you are way over reacting. Naisy is a moaner - yes - but so what - its a good thing he cares. He has gone down easily on a couple of occasions but most forwards in the SPL have at some point. To say he 'always' chaeats to get opposition players sent off is completely unfounded nonsense. As we have now established.

And I, like most Rangers fans, would have said if Naismith had kept up his form and not been injured then him and Jelavic would be the two most likely players with EPL suitors. McCleish has already been strongly linked with trying to take Naismith to Villa and I am sure there are plenty other mid to bottom half EPL teams could do with a free scoring midfield player who works his socks off.

Just because he never got a contract out of his time at Arsenal doesnt mean hes a failure down south ;0

Naisy doesn't deserve to be severly injured but, like Gascoigne- when he injured himself playing for Spurs-he brought it on himself and actually, had no right to be on the pitch when he did eventually twist his knee.

Wullie Gollum is a disgrace of a referee

Hows it going TCD......hows the Hooper to Spurs campaign coming along?

Seeing Defoe and Pavulychencko sitting on the Spurs bench yesterday I couldn't help but think....Gary Hooper could easily get a game in that Spurs team....

Still makes me laugh my butt off taht one

Your sounding like a gers fan when lennon was getting his death threats!!! "aye, but he brings it on himself"

Nobody deserves to be seriously injured

However, if gollum did think it was a sending off or yellow card and shat it cos he was injured, that is shocking!!!

kal,

Naismith went in with a poor challenge...ye reap what you sow.

And what he's sown, I hope, is none too serious

He should have received a straight red for the tackle.

kal-elbhoy

he didnt collapse straight away, he twisted his knee trying top collect a ball a couple of minutes later, he should have been booked, no doubt, but it wasnt a sending off, thats just daft.

nothing like when lambert left his teeth in albertz knee, now that WAS a ref who bottled to send an injured player off.

-------------------------

I dunno mate, watching the clip he does go down like he was really injured!! (grabbing his knee and waving to the ref)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkEscMg8-YI

but to be fair, it took the reply and the magnifying glass bit of the clip to show he proper fouled the boy, so i guess you can give the ref the benefit of the doubt.

++++++

FFS! He sliced Aberdeen's best player doon the shin

Try comparing that to what that clown Gollum sent the Aberdeen player off for

Naismith is by FAR the most aggravating nedlike player in the Spl...something like this was due to happen

Again, I hope it ain't a serious injury

"gettign sent off for diving"

I thought he was always getting other players sent off for diving, not getting himself sent off.

Naisy was also responsible for the Great Train Robbery Barcelona ....... every great crime you can think of is 'always' Naisys fault.

If only for the simple reason that hes a very very good Rangers player who works his socks off and gives his all every time he pulls on the blue jersey.

Ghodfather backed down on his wild claims but you can trust guys like TCD to come along an make even more of an erchie of himself.

'Naismith is by FAR the most aggravating nedlike player in the Spl...'

Maybe its Naismith to Celtic fans because he likes to get it right up them - but for everyone else theres Ian Black.

And I would say if you did a straw poll of SPL managers and asked them if they could have any one they wanted - which opposition Midfield player they would want giving their all in their teams colours week after week - I would wager Naismith would be well up there on their wish lists.

+++++

Are you kidding...he's looking straight at it, unimpaired. The man is a fekn idiot and shouldn't be near Spl football

--------------------------------

I doubt they would now

I disagree that people dislike him because he is just a good player for rangers, there has been better players who have played rangers but dont get the same amount of hatred as he gets.

and to prove it to you

Who do dislike the most? Larsson or Lennon?

and who was the better player??

The ref was over 20 yards away, with an Aberdeen player between him and Naismiths back to him.

Superman would be needed to see through all that to the tackle.

Give the conspiracy theories a rest.

how is it when rangers have a hate figure in the celtic team its because we're all bigots?

-----------------------------------

I didnt mention anything about that!!

Davie Weir aint hated and he has medals too

The truth is naisy is hated because he cheats, dives and is durty!! it aint a big deal!!

Its not like his life is in danger because of it, and he has to deal with some of the stuff OUR players/managers have had to deal with over the years

Naisy is currently (injury aside) in Rangers top 3 players.

He knocked back the chance to sign for Celtic.

He absolutely LOVES playing for Rangers.

He loves slamming it in the Celtic net.

He likes a good moan at Refs.

He has made the most out of tackles on a couple of occasions and been rightly punished for it.

Celtic fans like to have a hate figure in the Rangers line up that they can demonise and make out to be an absolute schumbag of a player who has no redeeming qualities.

Yup - Naisys yer man.

In the opinion of some Celtic supporters. None of what you said is fact or unique to Naismith, Stokes is as guilty of all of the above. He isn't hated because he isn't that good.

Simples

Ye kin back Naismith's nastiness with facts...of which a few Bears on here have previously pointed out.Sent off for diving, constantly moans at refs and opposition players and, on Saturday, should have been red carded for a disgusting challenge.

Don't mind you Bears stoically defending your clubs position with the Tax issue but, Naismith CONSISTENTLY gets involved when no need...his indignatious tackle was relevant to how he conducts himself on the field and resulted in his own injury, which hopefully won't be too serious.

He did reap what he sowed though

Naismith is no worse than any other striker in Britain in terms of diving/ tackling.

Celtic fans have chosen him as their current hate figure because he is vocal during games, usually because he is getting kicked over the park.

Not surprising considering he is someone who has already had to come back from cruciate ligament damage once already in his early career.

++++

Nonsense! He reminds me of Gascoigne without the ability

He will continue to pick up needless injuries until he can control himself on the park.
