The past is of no importance, Spurs have kept their best players, and improved. Much of their starting 11 is still pretty young, where as Chelsea are still relying on Lampard

As for Parker, I'd prefer the combination of Parker and Modric to any combination Chelsea can put out in Midfield. One offers the defensive cover that is non existent in the Chelsea team, the other is world class.
