I have had enough of all this is he staying is he going bollhocks, to the point that I wish we would just cash in.
If that sun article is true then I take my last comment back. Sorry Cesc!
As far as I know, he's never said he was leaving. He has only ever said that it is his dream to play for Barca at some stage. Hopefully when he's in his late 30's.

Lee dixon said he has to leave so he must be going now.
Dont read the tabloids anymore. The journalists tries to destabilize our team at every opportunity.
He stays and that make sense for him, for Barca and for Arsenal Football Club.
Just read the same story at skysport and soon you can see what the journalist make out of the same story. Read please introduction here:

and than compare it to what the Sun is making out of the same story.

Can you feel the different tone in it?

Yes, the media suck donkey di*k
My thoughts:
1. Arsenal are ruining a wonderful footballer's career by holding on to him rather than allowing him to progress to the next level
2. Fabregas realises that he won't be able to break into Barca's first team midfield and has decided to get first team football at a poorer side instead.

No-one is holding onto him. He is under contract and if and when Barca decide to stump up the cash for him Arsenal will let him go. We are not going to gift wrap our most prized possession and post him off to Barca just because he has a hissy fit. You had the best example a few years ago yourself in Ronaldo.

Like he says he loves Arsenal and would only leave us for Barca. He knows realistically Barca are not going to break up the partnership that is Xavi and Iniesta for no one not until one of them can no longer run and even then they would still be better than most midfielders.
So best for him to bide his time or bench warm a lot.
Manyoo, thanks for your thoughts I am so glad you could spare the time to write on the Arsenal board.
If I was Cesc I would be proud that his team beat the best team in the world at home, and came pretty close overall considering they had their best striker sent off and Cesc himself gifted Barca a goal.

Yes, why concern oneself with 6 years without a sniff of a trophy when you can rejoice in winning 1 game (and the first leg of a Champions League tie against Barca). After all, it's not all about winning, is it?

My point is that we were the only team to beat Barca in a game in the Champions League so we are not too far from being a winning side. All we need is for the players to grow some balls get rid of the deadwood and replace with quality and who knows we may win a trophy, just like the great Manchester United. We pushed your lot nearly all the way until the collapse after the CC final when our players could not pull themselves together again. I pray this gets sorted this summer!
