as long as we dont sacrifice the atmosphere then thats fine.
the original stadium was designed to keep the sound in. basically the opposite to the emirates.

56,250 is the stated capacity put forward in the planning application.
Are you saying we have put in a new application to increase the capacity, if so where is this information coming from?
It is not on our website neither is it listed in current applications at the Council.

To be honest, until the first brick has been cemented down i will keep my pessimistic hat on about our new stadium
gg,
I think the 'idea' is that we can hopefully make an amendment without submitting a new proposal

Mine stays on until the LAST brick has been cemented down - you know what Harringey are like
Thanks Shelfside............so it is only under consideration, that is why I could see no reference to it. Would be good if we can do it.
An extra 3,750 seats x ~30 (home) games a season x avg price per ticket ~£40 = £4.5m a year!
Saw the article this morning.
Bit gossipy IMHO (an extra 5000 odd seats don't sound much but I'd reckon that structurally something would change to require a new planning survey - foundations, height of stadium etc) .
Genius - according to the Telegraph "local government sources" have leaked details of the plans.
Like wot Shelfside said - they've probably made an informal request to see if they need planning permission

Maybe i will be able to afford a ticket

Shelfside :
RRP can do for you what I used to do for bus tickets.
As the short-ars-e I used to buy N child tickets for the bigger kids behind me, and the drivers could never be ars-ed to argue the toss about it.
See i have my advantages
Not many, but some
what do people think will be the new general ticket level prices? do you think they will stay the same (assuming a general rise in line with inflation).. or do you think that they will go up, or fall, once we get the new stadium
i would like to think they will reduce them a bit.
RDBD
I still owe you a beer for that
Twas in the days before dem "child pass" things the kids have to carry to prove their age in such circumstances.
Although I believe the 21st century equivalent is for a herd to rapidly move thru swiping their Oyster cards loaded with child fares.
Chronic,
Not too sure as the gate figures when a new stadium opens can be misconstrued a touch - there will be an element of fair-weather fan going for the new buzz.
I'd hope they'd keep them the same for the first season and assess the situation once the hype dies down a bit

If that is a dig at me over the NextGen debacle last month ... !!!
