I bet you look like Ken Bates' balls
He doesn't have the balls to allow national retailers to sell our shirts again, and to re-open a club shop in the city centre, which is vital to keep up the club's profile.
that is a very good point.
I can understand why that decision was made at the time, when every penny needed to be saved, but that's not the case anymore.
You can't buy a Leeds shirt in Leeds city centre, never mind any other city centre, and the damage that does to the club's profile far outweighs the potential lost revenue by people not buying direct from the club.
If a young kid is in the city centre and sees lots of shirts of big Premier League clubs, but not Leeds, there's a risk he'll buy one of those and that's a supporter lost.
And with so many empty units surely the club can negotiate cheap rent to have a presence in the city centre?
He also doesn't have the balls to allow any organisation he doesn't have control over to have the radio rights.
As you say a young kid,but what about a grandparent, who doesn't buy online wanting to buy their grandkid a shirt?
I live in spain, and I can remember when you could buy them here, fair enough we we're in the champions league.
Apart from the 1st paragraph spot on that article.
The first paragraph is the most important.
The manager is crucial to a football club's success.
If you're happy with Grayson your argument against Bates is weakened. He can just turn around and say he's put a good manager in place and you can't argue.
You can say that he's not given him enough money to spend, but he could say Grayson has never been refused a player and point to good players that were picked up cheaply. And, again, you couldn't argue.
The other points I've raised can be justified, even if you think Bates is wrong.
If, like me, you think Grayson is a joke of a manager and can present a strong case as to why, Bates has no argument and you can shoot him down in flames.
Our biggest problem is that most of our fans seem to fall over themselves to justify the one thing that Ken Bates cannot justify.
And then you have the BBC making lame, no **** Sherlock documentaries telling us that Ken Bates has offshore accounts, and a bloke with a cake shop in Moortown didn't get paid in full, when we went into administration, whilst telling us the club overachieved under Grayson.
I'd go for Dougie Freedman.
no experience, been managing for 10 minutes.
It Martin o Neil time or Peter reid or Darren fergason or Kevin kegan
Tones out there tones!!!
MON can feck off he allways walks, and as for the others you mentioned
Peter Reid is a terrible manager, he's messed us up already.
You can't just dismiss somebody for having a lack of experience.
Dougie Freedman is bright, intelligent, inspirational, knows the Championship inside out and knows our club from the inside.
He hasn't put a foot wrong at Palace, they were stuggling when he took over, he got them safe and now they're challanging at the top of the division. And that's with a smaller budget and lesser players than us.
so he'll get a budget at leeds?
He'll get a bigger budget than at Palace and he'll have better players to work with, and he already has Palace above us.
esteponawhite talking rubbish again
Mon never once left a club with out a good reason.
Grayson had more then most.
David o learey? Dave jones?Ian Dowe? Sven? Adey bothrood?
There is tones more most on freebies
Agreed - KB must sack Graysin - now.
One thing about Ken Bates is he doesn't hesitate to sack a manager if things are going badly. Sacked Macca when we were in 9th. If this season is falling away and the club has no chance of challenging for the playoffs, SG will be sacked. However, I don't think the chairman, the board or the manager think the club has what it takes to be promoted this season - and I agree with that.
A little positive point... I walked into a big sports shop in the centre of Milan last weekend, and there in front of me was a Leeds shirt. I thought about buying one but they were 70 euros each!

Mighty,
I've seen a few Leeds scarves on sale here in Barcelona. It made me feel proud to see that there were only 5 English teams scarves there and one was ours!
BF you just can't beat the colours!
Best Fans, he obviously does hesitate!
He's had countless opportunities to sack Grayson, yet he's still here after 3 years!
