Yes he can, and I'm sure if Fergie did sign him he would have this in mind, because we certainly don't need a right winger.
Try youtube and scout the lad for yourself, I did and suprise suprise all the footage is very positive.

thanks for the advice mate, it is a great indicator of how good a player is.
He better be able to, having 5 wingers at the club would be competition for competitions sake.
Don't worry we won't be getting him
Christian Vieri's Phlegm Bombs (U5785)
It was a method Sven used when he arrived at City, one or two of them worked out. Think Alex used it as well before signing Bebe, proof it does work.
Is Sanchez the next Ozil?
No, not really. He either plays on the wing or just off the front man. If the Young deal has fallen through, I might be able to believe the rumours. Otherwise it would be a massive waste of money.
Yeah I can see Sanchez being in Carrington for a year as well and then sign for big bucks at City
I think we have to accept that we cannot compete with City when it comes to money.
But Captain you have the history, and what of the potential takeover I read about the other day?
I don't think we will sign him. Regardless, if Young signs I expect that Nani will be sold and used in any attempt to get Schneider. I really hope not. He is the best winger in the PL and I would restore him to the right berth!! Sorry Tony!
If it wasn't about cash I'm sure he'd come here but sadly most footballers are only after cash these days.
City will be his club !
"Regardless, if Young signs I expect that Nani"
Why do people seem so opposed to having more than 3 wingers?
bloodred - with Young we would have Valencia,Nani,Sanchez,Park (he plays wide),Giggs (sometimes)... Obertan (rubbish!)
I just don't see it sorry. He won't sit on the bench if he was bought for 27million and neither will Young. Nani won't for long, valencia possibly would. Sure there are lots of games but I see him going to City. He wants the money!!
Lets see who is right.
He looks great. Similar to Ronaldo.. Bar his free kicks. I would love to see him at OT.

We'll only get one of Sanchez/Young. (If we do get both then maybe I can see Nani being sold).
Aside from that, I imagine Giggs will play more of a central role this season, and Obertan will either be sold or play another season in the reserves.
That leaves us with Nani, Valencia, Park and Sanchez/Young. Considering how often Fergie rotates, and that Sanchez/Young and Park can also play in other positions, all 4 of them will get their fair share of games.

Bloodred - yes I accept what you say in your final paragraph but I just think that Young is a definite and Sanchez a maybe, and if that maybe becomes a deal, Nani will be sold. I just get the feeling SAF still doesn't totally have faith in him.
He should have started that final IMO. A pure matchwinner and one of only a couple of players we have that can go past opponents one on one dribbling.
Outsider looking in, if you sign Young is it not more likely that a central midfielder would be signed as that seems an area where you might be a little light?
Only saying.
He's played in the second striker role behind Di Natale this seasona t Udienese ie. the Rooney role
He can play left.right wing, second striker or striker, NOT centre midfield. This is all speculation unless we sell Nani which I hope we dont

You would think that, but it seems people want Young, Sanchez, a midfielder plus Nani to stay. I would rather keep Nani and sign a playmaker than spend £30 million on Sanchez.
I think we will sign Sneijder !
stop all the scneider and sanchez talk, they are both in roman's buy list
Sanchez's main talents are best utilised out wide, not as a central midfielder.
In any case, Man Cee are going to sign Sanchez, so no point talking about him.
Wesley Sneijder is not coming to Man U either...
