He is incredibly frustrating. A bit like Bellamy, pace to burn but just appears to lose interest.
A player with pace at this level should be really at defenders all the time.
Even so, I would take him back.
How are Everton strapped for cash when they're one of the few clubs in the Premiership to invest at all?
They're like £40m in debt aren't they?
Evertons finicial problems have been well documented over the last couple of seasons.
Why dont you think they havent invested?
LeedsSouth - What? Do you know what strapped for cash means?
£40 Mil is peanuts compared to the other clubs debts & if you look at our much revenue they make each year, its easily managable.
If they're strapped for cash then god forbid the others.
Grayson obviously doesn't rate him.
He dropped him a few times and didn't fight to keep him.
LS do you even know what you're talking about?
How is it managable when their debt is growing year by year with no means of investment?
Idiot.
Everton didnt buy a single player in pre season because theyve got no money! I dont get your point LeedsSouth. Thats why I said ''thats the reason they probly sold him''. Jesus! And anyway wasnt talking about other clubs?
Well where is all the money going?
Certainly not on players
Looks like Kenwright as been on the same speedboat in Monaco as our favourite uncle.
He's taken the lot by the looks of it.
Jermain Beckford anyone, lol!
Good point Yeboah, they made 2.5 million on Beckford.
The money is going on trying to ervice their already crippling debt.
Whats so hard to understand about that?
Mattyp.
Where has their debt come from though?
I can understand if they went out & bought a player like their cousins have across Stanley Park in Andy Carroll (35 Mil)
They've been in the top flight season after season, longer than the majority of the others, they still get decent crowds compared to the rest of the clubs outside of the top 5 & they haven't signed any major players on big transfer fees since they were challenging for the title.
Lets face it , its all down to Kenwright.
They should not be strapped for cash.
Leeds South - you are either taking the mick or don' watch footy that much. Here is a link to one of the many articles written about there finances.

Tony.
Don't you think its strange that a club like Everton who aren't renowed to commit to huge transfers fees, have achieved regular top 6 finishes evey season, draw in good crowds, play in Europe often, have reached domestic finals yet they have no money?
Even without outside investment they should be able to hold their own.
Sorry but it all smells a little fishy to me.

Heitinga 7m, Fellini 15m, Yakubu 11.25m, Jageila 4m, Johnson 8.6m and Piennar 2m. Thats 48m in the last 5 years so although not exactly Man City they have still spent. They've received £25.5m in transfer fees during the same last 5 years and the majority of that has been this summer. I'm not quite sure where this myth of Moyes working to a tight budget has come from when there's plenty of teams working with a net profit from transfers.
Anyone paying £25k to Beckford must be crazy so multiply that by 25and you can see why they have no funds
Who gives a chuff about the finances of Everton FC?
