Too true PJS. It's excruciating to watch because we have some fantastic players.
Firstly-absolutely nobody sung the anthem. That winds me up no end. I'm no Royalist...but I want the players to sing with all they've got! Get up for the flaming match!!! Pearce of all people should demand that.
Then the main problem...are there any tactics? It seems the two centre halves are sorted. We have two fantastic full-backs - particularly Walker...neither seem to want to bomb on like we know they can. The other six players don't seem to have a clue what they're doing.
Since I'm an Everton fan I'll comment on Rodwell. He's playing inside left and looks lethargic. Get him playing box to box and get a flaming rocket up him!!! As far as U21 is concerned he's world class! This is the England team of the future and it's full of fantastic players! The tactics are diabolical

They should be bossing this game. Cracking effort from Sturridge.

Can't beleieve he was taken off and the useless Mancienne and Henderson were kept on. Our best midfielder today. he or Muamba should be starting DM for England
Too much lumping of the ball forward. I'm not sure now whether it's a tactic employed by the manager or whether the players aren't intelligent enough, or lack the ability to do anything else.
