I don't rate Gary Mackenzie that highly myself - but good luck to him and Scotland.
Like Deano, who always looks a bit cheesed off, Mackenzie might also qualify as one of our grumpiest and most arrogant looking players while on the pitch - or maybe thats just defenders for you.
Of course no doubt they are all loving, caring individuals deep down.
I for one wish him well and look forward to seeing him against the mighty Cypriots. It goes to show how well we have come when our ex players are knocking on the door to the Premiership in Punch & Ablie while our current players are getting international recognition.
Lewie for England.
And don't forget Sammy putting West Ham second
I rate MacKenzie a lot, gotta remember he's still quite young and it's brilliant he has that anger, determination and pride in him that not too many defenders even Premiership level have!
I dunno if he'll play but well played to the man getting called up, dunno how he's warranted it this season MORE than the back end of last but none the less, really pleased for him.
Also kinda pleased it will be Nantwich he'll be missing because I've really been impressed with Flanagan recently and he looks so professional at the back and doesn't look out of place in the team, wouldn't be worried seeing him in the team against anyone to be honest!
And well done to Sam too
