If he goes he won't be missed.
Joe Ledley will be our key man next season.
£25k a week?
You've been had!
how much is james beattie on
agree about ledley loosing him for the run in was a big blow. Very consistant and does a quietly effective job.
I doubt very much Brown is on 25k per week.
I suspect he's on something like 15k per week and will be offered a further 5k to extend his contract which I hope he will.
He had an excellent season and the likes of Kayal and Ledley brought out the best in him.
How do we know his wages? I think Brown is still to hit his peak. We all keep saying he is not the player he was at Hibs. But different football clubs play different ways. Kayal brought the best out of him as it meant there was less of an onus on him to defend in midfield and allow him to attack more freely. I would still take £6million for him, anyday of the week. However, this is surely another silly story from the Scottish media to unsettle the Celtic team.
Harry - i remember when he signed it was widely reported he was on 25 k per week basic. google it for yourself mate.
by the way is your username related in any way to the auther harry horse??
