Man United.

Still running on luck for 25 years. They haven't done too bad.

No Galvin I'm not but you are right,it is based on form. What else can you base it on?

I'm not having it that we were lucky yesterday. I dont agree with that. A football game is decided in much more than 1 penalty shout. We worked very very hard for that win yesterday.

I know Joe Jordan said we were a bit lucky but I personally dont buy into that.

I wouldnt say we were lucky really, Fulham were poor at finishing, and the shots that were going on target one of our players put their body's in front of it, is that luck or great defending?

We were for once clinical in a game, 6 shots on target...3 goals

What is worrying me is how we always seem to fall away in the 2nd half of games, eventually we wont get away with it

yeah but you make luck

Spurs didnt win by all staying at home and not showing up did they

Bale's shot/cross was heading in and so was Defoes

if anything Fulham were lucky to get the goal we gifted them to get them back into the game

We have never been a lucky side. A few examples:-

lasagnegate at West Ham.

The incredible number of hopeless referee/linesman decisions that have cost us at Old Trafford.

Worst of all the 1962 European Cup semi final against Benfica those (those who don't know about this get reading).

Therefore I will embrace and enjoy any luck we receive as its long overdue. Although like most I am aware that if we continue to play as we are it won't last.

To be fair to Dawn, if it wasn't for Kyle Walker's brilliant save () The game would have been 2-2 at that point.

B-b-b-b-but Sidwell pushed Parker over in the box too

Then why are you responding number eight, very contradictory? I am not wumming,I'm pointing out that i think that we should still be a little cautious. Defoe last year was rubbish so I'm watching his form more closely this year that's all.

I thought Fulhams goal was the luckiest

And as for the goal mouth scrambles I dont see that as luck but good last ditch defending

all in all we made our goals happen and scored 3
a good win

I think Bale wanted to give Modric a big old when he cleared the ball of the line in the last minute..well it looked like he wanted to anyway

....

But he shouldn't have been on the pitch to push him over , that elbow was far worse than the one JD got sent off for......Talking of pens Parker was flattened from behind in their pen area a minute before their pen shout .....the ref wasnt brilliant but over all both sides got good and bad decisions

JD's elbow at Villa was a joke sending off, absolutely nothing in it and he gets banned for 3 games

Having said that im not sure it was an intentional elbow by Sidwell, seems more of a coming together than anything else

The Ref seemed to let a lot go, why he let Fulham play on when Parker had a clear head injury i will never know
