Most fans of most clubs would be appalled and embarrassed if their club was accused of spying and other such vile behaviour, but not you lot. Dodgy, dishonest, deceitful - and proud of it.

Chronic: If you are going to resort to childlike taunts of my being in school, at least get your basic spelling right i.e. "Whose a big boy" - it should be "who's".

So once again, everyone is wrong and they've all got it in for poor old Tottenham? Whether it be the Mayor, OPLC, the government, etc.

Stop deluding yourselves and trying to ignore that which is obvious. Like I say, dodgy, dishonest and deceitful - and proud of it.

West Ham may have dropped to the Championship, but we'll never sink that low

And i dont suppose West Ham would do anything illegal, like play an ineligible player (for example), be found guilty & fined £5.5m for doing so. No, no, no...West Ham would never disobey rules & laws in anyway whatsoever.

The chairwoman of the OPLC has accused Tottenham of spying. This is not a football related offence such as illegally registering a player. This is very base. I cannot recall it ever happening before.
And the finger has been pointed by a person in authority who knows what they're talking about.

And the response from Tottenham fans? To play it down.

Dodgy, dishonest, deceitful - and unashamedly proud of it.

i can see good points and bad points in both sides of the argument here.

i respect the fact that myhammer ais clearly a man of sound moral values, is also that you are loyal to your club through its current 'lean' times, and is brave enough to argue his case as one of only 2 west hams fans on the board against dozens of spurs fans.

however i also agree with some of the other posters, at least in so far as where they point out that no case has been proven yet, so it's a bit hasty to come to a judgment.

it's not like any of us would do it the other way round now

Baroness Ford? Position of Authority? Listen to yourself myhammers, the OPLC is a quango and these have cost the country billions since Labour came into power.
Look at this biopic of her:

Baroness Ford is the Chair of the Olympic Park Legacy Company and our Board. She joined the Legacy Company from Royal Bank of Canada, where she was a Managing Director in the Bank’s Global Infrastructure Group. Baroness Ford is also the Chairman of May Gurney Integrated Services Plc and a Non-Executive Director of Grainger Plc. She recently retired as the Senior Independent Director of Serco Plc and from 2002 until 2007, she was the Chairman of English Partnerships, the national regeneration agency.

May Gurney plc have dozens of contracts with local authorities, they also do all of the street lighting for the London Boroughs. Serco operate right across the Public Sector from waste collection to facilities management.

Both Serco & May & Gurney have used via local authorities RIPA, which is the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000. What does this mean?

The spy on people, checking for instance that they are not putting their bins out too early, they have both had wheely bins fitted with devices to monitor the type of waste going in them.
Other misuses of this act include local authorities listening in to people's telephone conversations, intercepting emails................................Big case of pot calling the kettle black here methinks!!!
