I don't understand your logic, if you think Doyle is the man to lead Ireland when the score goes to 4 each, then why not start him.
Only managers who are failures are sentimental.
I think Trap. cannot go wrong with his front 2 selection at the moment as he has an abundance of players eager to play and all showing reasonable good talent.

Yes my reasons would be sentimental. Doyle has been a good player for us and it would be nice for him to be there on the pitch when the team are applauded off.
