I have never opened a gold pack on UT so I have no advice to give

I've had the most luck with the 7500 one. Had Rooney, Aguero & IF (87) Higuain from them.

I had a grand total of f-all with the one 7500 I bought!

hmmm thing is if I don't get anything it actually doesn't mean much. I can either stick with the players I've got or i'll have to spend ages saving up for the 40k one's, that's over 40 games per new player (without including buying new contracts).

cheers for the advice though guys, think i might just chance it on a 7.5k one as I'm almost there and if I don't get anyone good i'm just gonna start another squad.

the only reason im considering making another team is there's this crazy gap between the next level of players. Up from 3-5k to 40k+, I honestly can't be arrrsed!

Yeah basically, and the best chance of getting an IF apparently...its usually on Mondays around 6, but it varies...try searching online

ah right cstp. sounds just like my current team, good team with almost full chemistry but basically at a dead end when it comes to progressing further... no forking way am i buying packs with real money either!

I think its a waste of money that 15K pack. I bought one and the noteable cards was a Man United away, Carragher, formation and position. Unfortunately I sent the latter two to my club items unless I could have gotten at least 4,000 for the pair.

What I try to do is study the market, there are peak times where everyone is on and you will have a bidding war and slow times when you have it easy....for e.g now is the time to buy stadium cards cheap, set them to auction for 12 hrs later and you can get a 100% profit. I haven't studied the gold player market too much though I got a Skrtel yesterday for 900 and it sold for 2,100.

Fair play Denis, does sound like a lot of time and effort in the transfer market . Although I guess once you've got the knowledge of what's a bargain then it's quite simple to make money from then on.

I just assumed people with hundreds of thousands of 'fifa cash' had paid real money for a load of packs then bought and sold from there.

I assume that as well, in fact if it were possible I would have spent some of my PS credit on a few coins, sadly I am stuck trying to deal in the market to gain my coins.

If you are going to buy the game you might want to look at the web app and get yourself started and sign up for the game so that when you do get the game you have some idea on what you want.
